CFL Light Placement

Hello,

What do you think is better? I'm about 4 weeks into flower.

Option A (what I have been using):


Option B:



I know, some of my leafs are burnt, the waters pH is out of wack...waiting for the mail to drop off my general hydro pH up and pH down

Side note: the total wattage in the case is 78 watts, using 2700k CFL's and I'm getting 4950 lumens. Temp around the middle of the plant hovers around 81-83 but near the canopy I can't seem to get a good reading because of the radient heat from the bulbs. Thoughts?

Well I dont know about the placement of your bulbs,but I'm thinking a general rule would be to keep the lights close and spaced from out equally.
But my question is,how is the ona working out for you in odor control ?
Your plant looks nice to me.I hope it produces lots of smoke for you.

Ona seems to do the trick for one or two plants...I suggest getting the ona pro gel though, much better than the stuff in the picture. I have gotten the pro gel and haven't gotten a smell of the plant unless I put my nose up to it.

option 1 is the lights i would use.

only because it has the even light distribution coming from the cfls.

if you can control the temp then i would add more lights to the side so you can promote side growth.

you also want the temp gauge around the top of the canopy - where the lights are hitting.

tip for that ona gel (same one i have)

instead of having the cap open -- just drill holes on top of it.
- this will make it release less of the linen + lasting a longer time.

i have mine covered with seran wrap + poked holes in my grow. -- works like a charm.

I'd put some Y splitters at either end and try to position them down to get underneath.

I tried One Gell. It replaced one stink for another in my case.

Is your dark period absolutely dark? If so, then you need more light bud! Are you using tap water? If so, ouch!
Are you using ferts? Buds look tiny man?

I would do like they said and do option A but add more bulbs for side growth. Seems to be the best option imo kinda how i have mine.
