CFL hurt flowering?

K... here's the deal

My plant started out in the windowsill for a few months, left alone with no nutes or proper light for about 3-4 months. Now she's around 2 feet tall and flowering furiously. What can I say... fluked out, never expected her to grow from one little bag seed.

So while I'm waiting for payday.. I went and bought the only lights I could get my hands on... 2 soft white CFL's that are 40watt, and 2 more that are 27watt, hooked into 2 lamps with y-splitters.

I know this isn't the proper lighting for flowering stage, but will it do any harm for a few weeks? Better then natural light, I figured. Only 9 hours of natural light left outside here, mostly cloudy lately and this plant has a ways to go if I even want a small buzz out of her. It's kind of a salvage operation at this point I think. Most of her is stem thanks to the poor light.

Second question... when I do get a good HPS, do they require it's own special socket/hood assembly? Or can I use a large 10" reflector dome and a normal socket? Never seen these before.

I'm not gonna set my new house on fire am I? (hehehe... obviously this is my first grow... any help is apprecaited.)
