CFL grow journal, starting week 6 veg

Noticeable growth since Friday, that's for sure haha. Watered the lower plant in the black pot with regular tap water yesterday instead of the filtered to see if I can get a magnesium boost because she looked...like she had some kind of deficiency. I must say less than 18 hours from watering her and she looks a lot better to me. I'm thinking another week or 2 and I'll flip to flower. I'm moving my setup to the basement for cooler temps and get ready for summer weather. My temp only gets down to 70 in the bedroom. Downstairs I know I can get it to 60-65. One love, happy monday

Looking very good bro. Yea plain tap water can be very good depending on how your tap is. I wish I could use mines but the chlorine snatcher I have works well and makes the water very good. Good idea about the basement for cooler temps. I can already see my setup is gonna be hell when summer hit. Wanna get a portable ac unit but don't know where I can exhaust the heat out the garage. No windows no nothing. I'll have to figure something out. May just get a swamp cooler and put ice water in it and see if that can keep garage cool enough. I wish the air blew in there wouldn't have that problem. I'll figure something out

Thanks man...stuck doing training at my new job I just started today haha. Lights just turned off at home, hopefully it's all good. This is the first actual day I have to wait til after work to check on em haha. You'll figure something out easy homieeeeee.

Getting crazy up in here...I'm at a loss with my veggies haha....should get them outside. They are damn huge...pretty sure I have at least one male, don't ask how I know haha. A fucking jungle, happy wednesday. One love!

Them veggies is taking over!!!! Lol I'm gonna grow some myself. I gotta get my backyard right tho. Got some bushes that take up half the yard my Mrs wants them gone and so do I. Just gonna dig em up and plant grass then make a soil bed for some veggies.

Some strains will show preflowers fast so I wouldn't be surprised if you had a male. Those usually show first so give it a few more days just to be sure. I've seen some that look like males and days later pistils pop out

Brought the veggies outside and just swapped to hps. Here they areeeee

Good morning beautiful people. I'm on day 6 of 12/12 and as of yesterday I have two that are definitely female. I'm struggling with one though. I've never had a male, but I'm thinking I might. I attached some pics but of course it's hard to see, it's still early. They look like little balls starting. Just a single one though at each node. I was hoping it'd end up female and hairs would pop out but I don't think that's going to happen. It's healthy too...damn lol. Check out the pics, let me know what you think. Thanks! Last pic is on of females, can see the hairs.

I don't know if the fourth pic is of the same as the first two but that fourth one is female. I'm sure you know but I would let that one that's hard of showing go till you know for sure. Looks good and healthy. Can't wait to see ladies as they progress

Just checked on em again and I found one with two hairs poking out on the one I thought was male. Is it possible to have a hermie off the bat? I've just never seen the other growths at the nodes. The one with hairs looks like a normal sac with hairs but I also find what looks like a ball protruding from a mini stem on some of my nodes. Like a trichome in shape but bigger.. lol its gnar?

Well, after looking all around the "male/female" I have, I have female parts developing and I also am pretty damn positive I have male parts growing too. Therefore, I have my first hermaphroditic plant. What to do with it? Idk how I stressed it out...maybe transplanting. Didn't think I was stressing them out that bad. I don't think I'll be able to contain male parts so I'm going to get rid of it. Or just put it outside and see what it does haha. I'll give it a couple more days but I'm pretty confident.

Bro be patient there's something that has a proper name for his but I dont know what it is but @Flaming Pie kniws what it is as she's had a few of them but so have I. It's where it looks like it's a male sack but a female pistil shoots out of it. Don't know proper name but that could be what's happening. Until we can properly see I don't know for sure if you have a herm as your very early in flower so I just don't believe one is herming out that fast but I could be wrong. She will come through here and let us know the proper terminology for what I'm talking about. Try and get some good pics if you can

I've just never seen it through all the research I've done so it's weirdin me out. I realize I seem impatient about this, I just don't know exactly when pollen develops in male sacs if it is hermie and I'd like to not learn the hard way right now hahaha. They are called vegetative primordials. They start out looking like ball on stick but given time they either A) never develop into anything or B) become a leaf/new branch.

True Male ^ (as you can see the male developed many balls before dropping pollen. The drooping one is still 2-3 days away from opening. You always have time to wait it out.)

What a fucking awesome weekend...couldn't have been any better. I'm on day 9 of 12/12 and they look great. I grabbed a bunch of new gear and have started a few more seeds. I'm going to start a seperate journal for those ones. I am going to use roots organics and their line of fertilizers. I'm so fucking excited, I've only heard amazing things about them. Here's a couple pics...I'll get some better ones later.

But last night I think my babies got a little too warm/dry, 83* and 40% h, when I woke up, all the questionable seedlings were dried up but the 2 blue and 2 strawberry are loving life, one unknown is still kikin it tho, think tonight when I get home, it's time for transplant...

You won't believe it bro. I got home last night, picked up a zip of cali gold. It looks and smells great and is an awesome mixed hybrid high. Well, I'm grinding up the first nug I grab, as I'm grinding Audrey goes man that'd be crazy if you found a seed in this stuff. I open the grinder and bam! Two seeds made it through the teeth of the fucking grinder. Idk if this shit is some sort of weird sign because every fuckin zip I've gotten this past month of different stank nugs I've found 2-3 seeds in each and that's it! I comb through trying to find more, Noone tells me their finding seeds...it's fucking weird honestly. Makes me feel like I'm doing the right thing. Growing medicine and spreading love. It's a good monday sir.
