CBD Spray

When I was in Colorado, I scored this spray you could stray under your tongue and wait 60-90 seconds and then swallow. It tasted bomb… Peppermint flavor and had 500 mg CBD… Not much THC…

I never read into the effects of CBD much, nor have I even taken a strong dose of it by itself. I ended up taking about 1500 mg of it… I'm not sure how heavy of an amount that is? Well, I can tell you the effects seemed to be very relaxing and felt good… Is this normal?

It also said you could take this as a dietary supplement… I've heard of CBDs preventing cancer and what not. Can anyone chime in with some more information about it and if it's good to take… Is it addicted etc..

Thanks!

People claim a lot of stuff re CBD's ... unfortunately, I haven't found any good scientific evidence in terms of a clinical report or study. So I'm interested as well.

I heard that trim has higher levels of CBD and if you make cookies out of it it would obviously be a high level of CBD… Anyway it seems that edibles make people more tired/couch lock effect… There's obviously THC in the cookies too… I'm not sure exactly how CBD effects you without THC… I feel like it's very relaxing with no paranoia from my experience, but I'm interested in how it effects everyone else too. I have only used it by itself once or twice.

CBD is the none psychoactive part of the plant like, Its more for health benefits then it is as a high. People are starting to use the weed plant before flower to get cbd and use the leaves to juice, eat, what ever you want really. Some people believe that the weed plant before flowering stage is a vegetable plant. But its not used to get a high, might have trace amounts of thc.

I like the high off cdb alot.
Degredation is why people say trim and edibles have more cbd, its more stable than thc. CBN is also similar or at least believed to be in affect. If you've tried the two they are quiteddifferent though.

Hmm, interesting idea. So, folks are treating the plant as they would hemp stalk? Have you seen any lab analysis?

This is not directed to you QK. It is directed to the mmj community.

THC, CBD, Turpines, every component in marijuana degrades. In the grow room and out of the grow room. I just don't understand why CBDs are treated as if it is only one. There is well over 60 if not 100 different CBDs in a marijuana plant. All of which are different. Some get degraded above 100 degrees F others will degrade well above 200 degrees F. Each CBD is unique, but yet our community always speaks as if there is only one CBD in the plant.

In my opinion, all of the real goodies are in the buds. All of the plant is useful. For example, the stalks and stems have an extremely high level of fiber. Grind that shit up, put a teaspoon in your food or drink and it will clean you right out!!

When they say "CBD Spray", what CBDs are they referring to?? That is a very important question. Even though we don't yet know enough about the many CBDs, we do know some.

High levels of CBDs are known to reduce the THC effects. Just in my opinion, I have no proof, I believe CBN (which has good medicinal use) mixed with high THC increases paranoia and anxiety. CBN on its own, is the opposite.

If you really want to learn about CBDs and all of the goodies in the plant, there is a lot of good information here. Worth reading for sure. The link is to a PDF document.

Because of information like this and my full understanding of degradation is why I put my focus into the best part of the plant, the buds, and why I am putting all of my attention towards naturally decarbed oil so I can try to salvage all of the medicinal values.

The CBD spray was from a company from California… They seemed really legit, but I don't think it said what kind of CBD it is… Seriously, grinding the stock and eating it? Have you done this?

I may have to stand corrected regarding the stalks. When I purchased the Hemp Protein + Fiber the description said it was from the hemp stalk. I went to look it up and the only information I can find now is pointing to the hemp seed casings only. I swear when I ordered the product it said the protein was from the seed shell casings and the fiber was from the stalks. I don't know if I am mistaken or it was a misprint on the description when I purchased it. It has been quite a few years since I purchased it, and since, I have been consuming a lot of cannabis oil, so maybe it is simply my mistake and confusion. I can say this, it looks and tastes like ground up stems. I originally purchased it for the protein but it is so high in fiber I could not put it in my food and eat it. So I guess maybe I have not tried grinding and eating the hemp stalk. Most of the health food sites have changed their looks and some of the product descriptions. Here is one place where I have purchased the hemp products from.

CBD I understood to be the acronym for cannabidiol. I have been working with the R4 strain from GreenWerks in Colo. I have one patient with three discs compressing his spinal column to the extent his butt and legs are normally numb, making walking difficult. He tried just legal pot, got a tiny bit of relief, but the THC buzz made him dizzy, thus this did not aid his walking ability. When the R4 became available, I made some qwiso, mixed it with PG, and set him up with a vaporizer. 3-4 hits and he gets all his feeling back and can walk around normally. I do mix THC qwiso in as an equal amount. The CBD seems to neutralize the THC high. I felt they should both be in the mix as the endocannibinol system has two receptors, and why not fill both. Actual research information is scarce. I have been making some pills for my aging dog, and made some at 100/gram of CBD qwiso extract. This can't be more than 7-8 mg/dose. An 80 year man with Parkinson's tried them and his shaking literally stopped, so I have a new patient.

How long did the positive effects last?
Are you growing and R4? Any comments, pro or con, if you are?

Yes Cannabidiol is basically one CBD in the class of cannabidiol there are 7 total. Still over 60 more to go, if not 100.

Here is a PDF write up about CDBs which also discusses THC and terpines because they are involved with the CBDs. THC is considered to be a CBD, there is also more than one class of THC.

Edit: I would have to see it to believe it that some dispensary is offering a CBD spray that only contains the one or the entire seven in that class. I just don't think anyone has gotten that far except for synthetic forms.

I've always wondered if there is any cannabinoids/terpenes/alkaloids present in the roots of the plant I could extract and add to my RSO.

I find some papers under endocannibinol system at PubMed, http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/

I make QWISO for vaping and take out the rest with a long soak (RSO) for cooking or capsules. The QWISO could also make sublingual drops with EverClear, I add Kalua for flavor, and to cut the proof down. The same mixture could also be sprayed.
