CBD 1 and 2. Veg day 35.
CBD 3 had a rough start and I was thinking of just cutting it altogether but it came around so i transplanted it and put it in the flower room. It will be small but thats okay.

Here ya go.....

Day 1 of 12/12.
I vegged for about 50 days before the flip. I chose plant 2 as the one to go into the 10 gallon pot. Plant 1 is now in a 5 gallon lowes bucket.

P2 is 37 inches tall and P1 is 36.

P2....

Doc tells me such good things about the taste of this that I can't wait to test her out.

I am thinking about picking up a pack of this one real soon.
The Doc told me that he feels this pack is the best of the newer stuff.. not just for medi either.. a great recreational plant he says..

So, it sounds like that if you have faith in the Doc (I do) then this is the pack to give a go..

He also said Chemdawg is being overlooked for some reason.. that is a surprise to me.. I would think that everyone would be jumping on that one..

I see you ranked the Bubba OG as your fave Doc strain recently..
I am right there with you, Gruber.. God damn.. I still am holding 3 plants from that pack.. fucking incredible weed. Nothing out there can hang with it.

I haven't been on RIU in a while.. but.. this grow is gonna keep me coming back. Thanks for doing this one..

It's the picture and the 75 days. Picture shows an unusual looking product and people want short flowering time.

Ah, I got ya.

Man.. Chemdawg or no.. Anyone who is ignoring packs because a just over 10 wk plant might be in there is seriously missing out on a whole mess of amazing herb..

Some of the tastiest best smelling plants are about 10 wks.. Without crossing that line you are missing out just about everything Diesel other than OG's crossed to a quick indica.. missing out, for real.

I so agree with you. I have a lot of patience i guess but 70-75 doesn't seem long to me. When it gets to 84 and up i start to consider that long.
I would probably rate the Chemdawg in the top 3 of Docs gear.

Is it a low thc strain as well, I need a medicinal but can't be high....
The CBD Mediplant is pretty high in THC as well...somewhere around 18%. I think its specifically desinged for pain and sleep....which i could use help with.
Might not be the one you're looking for.?????

Yeah, take Dr GT and Chemdawg out of the equation.. Still, if 70-75 days is a make or break for you.. ease up, you're missing out on the best herb out there.. 9 times out of 10 a 10wk plant harvests more than an 8 wk plant. That is my experience, shown time after time..
Blue Dream is a perfect example of this.. You can pick it at 7 wks.. I love Blue Dream early.. but give it 10 and you will literally harvest twice as much.. also, the effect will be more in line with what the general public likes..

I had thought that CBD is sort of like the opposite of THC.. like, CBD cancels out THC..
Though, I was reading about some of these CBD plants last night and it sounds like that is not the case.

It is all new to me.. I'm super interested in what these plants have to offer though.. I do have some loved ones with medical issues resulting in pain, lack of appetite and lack of sleep..

I appreciate your work, Dr Gruber..

So, don't take this for fact, but, I think the trick to get the effects of CBD but not get high lies in making tictures that have not been decarboxylated (basically, heat applied)..

Definitely research that more.. I would look into how Charlotte's web is being prepared for underage patients and mimick that with a high CBD plant..
I bet Charlotte's Web still gets you high too when smoked or ingesting decarb'd product.. it is just in the preparation.. meaning, you could probably use the Doc's Mediplant, assuming that what I said above is correct and medicinal benefits of cbd can be had without being decarb'd..

The pictures don't really show how huge these are........

CBD #2 14 days of 12/12...........
This is the one in the 10 gallon pot.
Its 74 inches tall and about the same wide (forgot to measure).

CBD# 1...

In a 5 gallon lowes bucket. Also 74 inches tall.

P2 had some leaf tip damage in late veg and then stabilized. Then in early flower it started again and has now stabilized again.
I treated both plants the same but P2 didn't like it. ??????

Probably the bigger pot. I find the bigger the pot I use, the less nutes I need. At the same stage of development, the 5 gallon pot is probably almost full of roots already, while the 10 gallon pot is only half full of roots. That creates pockets where things saturate because the plant didn't eat the ferts where there are no roots. Then the roots grow and reach those areas with a higher level of ferts, and then you get nute burn, but only at some random places.

I think that's what caused it because it stabilized itself when the roots filled those empty pockets. If it was just the phenotype, the problem wouldn't have corrected itself without you reducing the dosage.

Btw, I'm waiting for a pack of these... Are the stalks rigid or soft? They look kind of skinny but seem to be holding up fine. I'm asking because I'm still not sure if I should train this one or mainline it.

Thanks for the info, i will keep that in mind for the future.

There seems to be a lot of sativa influence in them and the stalks are kind of thin. THe one in the larger pot has thicker stalks and should hold up pretty well with some support. The skinny one looks like its going to need a lot of help...

Day 21 of 12/12.
I thought todays picture should try to show the size of these. P1 is on the left, p2 on the right, and Dr Sharpe in the middle.
The plants are sitting on trays two inches above floor.

I forgot to take close up pics but i will get some later.

Those are going to yield real heavy. Ridiculous amount of bud sites and small leaves... We can even still see the stem in the pictures, which means even the inside buds will develop fully. You might beat your record with this. Maybe even without a two stage harvest. They look really happy, too.

Are they still stretching or are they done?

I was thinking the same..this might be a record beater.
I think they have stretched out as much as they are going to. Im out of ceiling space so i hope they are done.
