cbd harvesting question

are you still looking at trichome colors when determining when to harvest a cbd plant? milky trichomes indicate high thc, but in a plant bred to have very little thc, is this still the case? the white hairs have turned orange and are receding, trichomes are clear. just looking for some guidance on the nuances of finishing a cbd plant vs other higher thc plants.

I have been taking mine down at milky looking. I'd be curious to know what's right as well. Most of my Googling said to avoid a lot of amber trichs, but nothing seemed scientifically backed.

From my limited experience CBD plants seem to mature just like THC plants. Which means I would harvest when the plants look ripe like just like a normal plant. That has still seemed to be the peak point of terpenes and yields along with CBD production.

When its ready its ready its the same as a thc only line except dont let it amber as much think of stuff thats drug type two ie its 1in 1 thc to cbd ratios or there abouts lots of afghani pakistani and other hash strains exist like this by default also aces erdpurt alot of thats type two plants as well if it was cbg you were after then from what i hear then you cut pretty early even with cbg lines
