Caterpillars LATE

I got caterpillars on three outdoor plants. One is about a week from harvest. I can't spray it. I've spent about 30 min total picking the little buggers off since I discovered them yesterday. I've been really busy lately. I really don't see very many. Are they like spidermites - if you see one then you're about to see thousands in the next few days?

I'd rather not spray the other two because they are around 41 days into flower, should be less than 40 left to go. They have decent buds on em now, starting to take cola shape on. Have a look. If I keep picking off all the ones I see, does that eventually stop them. Forgive me, this is the one bug I don't know about and I am really busy these next few days but want to do what I can to keep my plants healthy.

Thanks

Man thats a bit long to go...
I dunno, I'd say to find something safe to spray you might regret not doing it earlier.
They can ruin ya FAST.

That's another reason I grow indoors.
I hate that man, that blows ass....
