I'm thinking of trying these, not because I don't want to pay for others, but because of their rectangular shape. It seems to me I can configure four of them under a light better than 4 round 5 gal buckets. I think these pails are at least 4 gal, but maybe less than 5. Check them out at the super market if you don't have a cat. Has anyone tried them?

Mine are just shy of 4 gallons at the tip top. Works good and since the corners are rounded the roots can better travel the walls

I had the same idea once.. because I had one laying around. The shape is better for oxygenation anyway. Btw I use buckets.
