cat & arthrosis

I have two cats and I never gave them marijuana, but they live in the same room than I (I have only one room, they are indoor cats) so they got a bit of my own smoke. They never jumped away, if I smoked (I never blowed in the face). But one of the cats seems to love the leaves, he cried in front of the grow box, he got a leave and was happy. The other cat liked the leafes too. First I was afraid a little bit, because I wasnt sure if it is the best for them. But they are 13 and 15 years so I think, it didnt harm them (especially my smoke...).
The older cat has arthrosis, I read loats about it in the internet, first I wanted to go to the veterinary, to get some medications, but then I read, that this medication will damage the kidneys. So I thought, maybe i5s the best for my cat to get yome marijuana. First I show the cat some cbd drops, it dont liked it. The cat loves leaves, but no buds and no dried parts, only fresh leafs. The cat never liked tabacco smoke, but smoke of the vaporizer, he never turns the head away.
So my insecure consideration should I give my cat some weed and in what kind of ablication?

i'm no expert whatsoever but i'd advise against any marijuana use for animals. they don't react the same as we do, don't understand what's happening, and animals are usually pretty uncomfortable if they don't feel in control of themselves. there are definitely alternatives but i don't think marijuana is the answer >< maybe catnip would be more up their alley ;)
