Cannatonic #4 the H.P. Cut

I had the Perkins cut about a year and half ago and gave up on it. Just couldn't keep it happy, one week it looked beautiful and the next it looked like it was dying, just didn't want to devote that much time to a strain.
What problems were occurring while running it? I don't mind the work.

I've grown both the #4 and the HP cut. Huel picked up this cut from the Green Bee lady in Ann Arbor, grew it a few times, and apparently named it after himself. lol

The Cannatonic 4 tests at 15% cbd, 1% thc. The HP cut tests at 20% cbd, <1% thc. Both should be pulled around 8 weeks 12/12 if you you're looking for peek cbd.

I prefer growing the canna 4 myself. As captain mentioned above, the HP cut can be a pain in the balls to deal with. If you're growing in soil keep it light with lots of aeration. It seems to do best when there's plenty of oxygen to the root zone.

Lol

HP is what I got then!

Damn, I heard a story of it just dropping dead in the middle.of.flower, no provocation.

Sounds like fun...
Yeah, I had a bitch of a time with it in my organic soil (which is pretty dense). I think more aeration bits would be a good idea...or try growing it DWC or something. I did that and had far and away my best results with it. She's sticky and stinky for sure!

She's in amended promix for the moment, no issues other than those that are my fault.

I'm going to.give her a try, would love to have CBD in my garden. I guess we'll see...

Are you kidding? It just stopped?

Yup. Reportedly, she's finnicky. Captain Morgan and st0w can both attest to that.

It was weird, absolutely no changes in anything, one week healthy and the next dying. Passed to a friend he got it stable for a few weeks and when he put it into flower it freaked out so he killed it.
Exactly what happened to me. Looked fine in veg, then about 2 weeks in to flower it took a turn. I nursed it to the finish line but it was a Charlie Brown Xmas tree the last few weeks

cannatonic #4 is the approx 10:1.

cannatonic H.P. has the highest cbd of any regional cbd strains circulating.
perhaps @Huel Perkins can specify what it's numbers are. I believe they are both published at Iron Labs. I'm guessing it's twice the cbd as the #4

Yep mine is #4. Looks, smells and tastes great with great effects.
