Cannabis VS ....

no real comparison is there.....
I have always found alcohol to be so brutal on the body....
a ....just not worth the buzz type of substance....
and it is so costly to peoples personal relationships and or lives.
Also a huge burden on the court system....massive costs when looked at country wide.

you could put a lot of other pictures up under the alcohol pictures and it would surprise you where alcohol falls
in the grand scheme of things....its a very dangerous drug....but has not been classified as so....

i would love to see the science they used to legalizing booze...is it the same crap as we're going through for MJ? i seriously doubt it.
i would love for someone to ask anyone on the legalization team "why is it illegal?"

I dont believe there was any science used to legalize booze. I believe what did it was that everytime a place/club got raided politicians, cops, and high profile business people were rounded up with all the rest and became embarassing... the political will was there to save careers.

In short... too many people were drinking it... that simple... and weed is almost there...

that was my thought too...it's always been so let's get it legal...but cannabis has been around for that long too.

True. And it wasnt illegal until roughly around the time booze became illegal...lol

Ive read a couple history pieces anout why weed was criminalized...

One reason was that cotton and paper producers lobbied to criminalize because hemp was a very competitive product for fabrics and paper and etc... i tend to believe that cause money is a prime mover

Another reason was that it was seen as a racist thing... black people were the predominant users and it was yet another way to persecute them... and protect white women from being raped by stoned crazed black guys... there might be something to the persecution bit, but... probably not as much as was portray by the article...

that's what i heard too.
i would really like to go a a rally where the legalization team is there and ask them why it's illegal and then see them squirm! there's no rational thought or process. just what you described above-$$ and they came up with a great fear mongering campaign

It's to bad society has catered so much to protect the stupid that common sense doesn't even exist anymore... Hell if I have 2 beer for instance one night and nothing to eat I feel the beer I use common sense and don't drive. Same as if I feel tired and sleepy I pull over and ask someone else to drive who fucken knew common sense.

Oh I know common sense isn't common anymore look at our police and politicians as fucking examples rant over
