Typing job would be awesome maybe I should look into making books for children. I currently have a 600 watt mh/HPs digital dimmable aircooled, 435 cfm inline fan with 435 cfm carbon filter, central air, fan, humidifier, dwc with GH flora series nutes, calmag, a pH meter, and a TDs meter. Anything else I need? Strain is moonshine's ghost train haze doing scrog with it. You could smell it at the front door before I put the filter in. Awesome cause my last strain didn't stink that good in veg

if I were to do dwc again I would go to a kitchen supply store and by a stainless steel container for my " bucket".

Air pump is not listed.nvm et al dwc

That post you quoted as bullshit was directly for you so how was anything bullshit. And there are people on this site that have degrees in the science of plants that have a better understanding of how plants work than the average bro scientist. A lot of tips and tricks are opinions some of those opinions will kill plants. I was trying to have an intelligent on a college level. If you and your friends had nothing to bring to the table or doubted the content you should have stayed out of it.

Blah blah blah.

the basics can be found on websites such as http://www.growweedeasy.com/basics http://howtogrowmarijuana.com/how-to-grow-marijuana-indoors/ and youtube videos. unfortunately half the videos are some jackass on his first grow playing raggae music and saying shit like "yo whatup bitches and pimps, this is 420master growing some monsters in the bizzy" and *delete* and some are like 2-5 minutes of nothing but bud porn. but there are a few gems in there that break things down.

Anyone have any articles on cannabis biology. I know what male, females, and Hermie's look like. I also know about stomata. My bad slab I got two airstones on one pump and a bubble wand on another.

soooooo much for the "this is not facebook" lol, i joke, i joke!! no but really this is one of the angrier threads.

i get this thread...i hate how everyone says "look it up", has anyone fucked with the search bar? i have because i figured, its probably better to approach a subject with a little knowledge. but yo seriously fuck me because you wont get what you're looking for through the search bar...or you might after a days of searching. maybe i'm doing it wrong, dont know.

i can't offer any science but my experience has been through trail and error. i now know that you shouldn't over-trim your girls, also going top/fim crazy will become confusing and make things complicated. sugar early on will freeze growth (although worked in my favor). the saying "less is more" is probably the single most valuable advice i received. comp tea works well as a folair spray. there are a 1000 products that all pretty much do the samething, so don't get caught up in marketing gimmicks.

in short the best way to learn is trial by error...i am growing 8 girls and of the 8 i have 2 set off to the side to try new or adventurous methods...and i compare the results to the standard by the book simple growth. also i've learned that on riu theres a million different methods to grow something unique and potent. everyone has a way or technique that really really works. basically grow and learn as you grow. that may be what you're trying to do and for that i commend you. you could try this...when you're ready to learn something new put all your focus into learning THAT one thing. my biggest issue was trying to take in everything right off the bat and being flooded with methods that didn't work but they also costed time and money. stay focused and driven and you will get bud that is perfect.

Yay people with expierence are chimeing in. Haha.
Lets get this science thread goin! Sorry i dont have much to contribute... i only just started my first grow indoors so expieraments are yet to come. Only ever did outdoor stuff untill now so i didnt want to mess with them as they were my only source.
Now im able to so let the fun begin!

I added the bubble wand because I read that smaller bubbles have more surface area so they produce more dissolved oxygen. Sorry for the mess, kinda felt like a wasted thread so I started giving out jj2012 philosophy lessons instead. Thanks for the input everyone. I have tried some off the books shit in desperation but can't really call it an experiment because it wasn't a controlled side by side. However next run will be two ak48 one with yerba mate and one without.

@jj2012 Experimental....whats yerba mate?....neutriants... i experiment with emf got a 4" 9wk old Durban Poison just starting lateral branches. it started out as a 'plant capacitor' but the antenna connection blew off in the wind (never noticed till 6wk old), should be interesting to see the bud size.
or is this the wrong kind of experiments your after??
Small bubbles need moving water to be more effective, better for the roots oxygen intake.

Yerba mate is an herbal tea you can get at Walmart. If you Google "benefits of yerba mate" you can find out the full list of vitamins it has. Not proven to work but will do a journal on it. Like I said I was desperate. Don't even know if cannabis can absorb it but seemed to help so I would like to investigate. Vitamin b1 complex is the main reason I decided to give it a shot.

Good reason, have you checked out the organic section
i use mainly organic, comfrey nettles etc, i finds its like trying to replicate nature without the variables.

Not yet but I tried finding anything mentioning the use of it and couldn't find anything close to the subject. I really want to know if I can foliar feed it because I use chemical nutrients. I will check out the organics section. I also used a detox tea that had burdock root, stinging nettle leaf, cleavers herb, dandelion root, and lemon myrtle leaf. The plant looked healthier than before I used it but can't recommend without a side by side.

Dandelion root also makes a nice Coffee when toasted
Comfrey is amazing by foliar, documented throughout history, Stinks like the Devils arse itself while soaking, its also good for Human Sprains and Broken bones (Local name Knit-bone).
use the growing tips of the nettle (its a nitrogen fixing plant) soak in a gallon and then dilute- its very High in Nitrogen. I recommend Both...Highly for any growroom plant fix-kit.
Hope your thread works, @jj2012 your gonna have to filter the dross and compile it into a Encyclopedia of "knowledge from the stoned age". that would have been a good thread title
