Will never happen unless someone who owns a dispensary grows the product and is in it not for the money. Lets be serious its all about money especially LP's. No one goes into business out of the goodness of their heart its all about making an income. Now some set up businesses as they might see a weakness in the market from other businesses and are willing to exploit it for the benefit of the customer but after that is business as usual. They're using that weakness to gain a fast customer base.
Do I think weed should be cheap, hell yah it should be free like any naturally occurring plant but this is a different plant just like alcohol is different than rain and hops. There's a huge corporate and political machine behind it now that they smells a product that can be exploited and generate taxes. They exploit alcohol for profit even through it kill 1000's every years and destroys peoples lives now they have something new.

Should add besides when was weed ever 2-4 per gram? Illegal weed until only recently in Canada has always been $2000-3500. Not till the influx of licenses in the last two years has it down down below $1600 for months at a time.
