I have heard a lot about using molasses. But I am not too sure in a hydro system. I also have heard that you can use tomato juice, but i am not sure about in a hydro system. I would really like to know how to intensify the buds in mass and solidairity in a hydro system. Please any in-put would be a blessing, Thanx! ! !

Putting that kind of stuff into a dwc type system always has the potential to go bad. Yes you can do it. But keep a very close eye on your roots after you introduce the molasses to your system. You'd be better off buying a sweetener product designed for hydro use (botanicare sweet, bud candy etc). Do not use tomato juice in your hydro system, it will fuck up your ph and I have never heard anything about tomato juice being a bloom enhancer. :P

It's not difficult to do a search and most of the time you'll find exactly what you are looking for and possibly learn a great deal of other useful info.

Good tips Banditt ! +rep

I do plan on trying molasses in my dwc. It's my first and I want to see/learn first hand with some things.
But I plan on running it lightly in my cooler during the last 7 days of flush, after the first 7 days of running 1/4 strength nutes.
Just molasses and r/o water with the ppm's under 100.
Nice carb load/sweetner and last days plumper-upper.
Always tasted good in my soilless grows.

I have been using molasses in my dwc the whole flower and amped it up towards the end I have very abundant roots and flowerd as big as a mans forearm. I do use a lot of air though! 60 watt pump for 45gal of water. molasses is a good source of magnesium carbs and simple sugars

I will probably take pics during harvest in week or 2 but for now its a jungle in there and a pic is kinda impossible...lol I will probably be getting 2+ oz a plant dry n there only 4ft LST

Molasses, or any organic material, has to be eaten by bacteria before it can be absorbed by the plants. Adding any organic material to the res strongly invites root disease, unless you add beneficial microbes. In the end the microbes turn the molasses into fertilizer, so it's essentially the same as adding more food, just more complicated.

Soil molasses with Endo and Ecto-type Mycorrhizae, like I do with my soilless ?

Yea thats what you want, along with some bacteria. I personally use aquashield, ZHO fungi powder, and ancient forest EWC to make a tea. I then add a few cups of tea to the res every couple days. I do this to displace root disease. I have no experience with molasses in my DWC.

Thanx for all the info. I did try to look this subject up in the search but it only came up for soil. I dont use soil so I thought it better to get some insight from others before I go and do something that can turn out counterproductive. Thanx everyone !

Thanx tigerblowztreez. I have always had a good expieriance with this site. (Except the occasional know it all) People like that should never look at peoples threads if they dont care and all-ready know the answer. For the most part there is some real infomative people on this site and I have tried other ones. But, even tho there r some rude people, it will not take away from the good people. It might seem a little corny but I feel a kind of kinship on this site you dont get from the socialy acceptable Facebook type sites. You really cant talk like we do. You know what I mean?
