Can you mix Ativan and Loratabs?

Sorry if this is a stupid ass question. I like taking loratabs, and I ocasionally take either xanax or ativans. Can you mix the two safely? Im talking like a Loratab 7.5 or 10 and an Ativan .5.... I would think it is all safe and not anywhere near high enough doses of either to be dangerous, but dont really know because Ive never heard of people mixing the two.

According to drugs.com, the combination of Lorazepam and Lortab carries a "moderate" risk of interaction.

MONITOR: Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effects, especially in elderly or debilitated patients.

dude you'll be fine.. that is an extremely dose of lorazepam (ativan).

Yeah, 4 mgs of ativan is about right... by itself.

I was thinkin more like:
4mg dilaudid
10mg valium
5mg ativan
30mg morphine

I was talking about with my tolerance now... zero. Benzodiazepines love me long time... but I dumped them for probation... when that time passes... I'll be benzo'd out for a long time... a huge benzodiazepine binge. Most people wanna do coke, ecstasy, opiates, or something when they get off... I want a fat sack of benzos and a fat sack of pot. I'm not a speed man... slow me down.

But I do love morphine.

Why would someone even bother with taking .5 of ativans...?

To potentiate the effects of the hydrocodone I would imagine..

Oh, well I just took a soma today not sure the mg and 4mg xanax and got a little fucked up or a while but now i am sober and bored.
