Can you clone without mothers?

WTF!

Can you take 'donations' from week 4-6 for your clones instead of using the mothers.

Just curious if anybody has tried that.

Those plants are 4-6 weeks into flowering.... no.

week 1-2 no problems any later than that and they will take very long to root plus you will have to convert them back to a veg cycle which takes long to.you can take clones from plants in flower up until they actually start to flower. when your change your lights to 12/12 your plants actually continue to veg for a couple weeks before will start flowering. clones taken at this time will do fine

Flowering plants do clone, i have successfully cloned plants 5 weeks into flower. problem is that the rooting took 3 weeks and by the time it got big enough it had been 6 weeks total. Easier just to keep a mom and be able to get the same size plant in 3 weeks instead of 6.
