Hey guys,

So I'm at about the 2 month Veg marker, the first month the plants were looking awesome but fast forward to today and the tops of about 80% of my plants got scorched.

Backstory: Over the last 4 months I had to get some replacement bulbs from the manufacturer as they all started to go out. Come to find out they sent me the wrong color of light (Yellow Vs the purple/ pink hue that they came with) and these seemingly burn much hotter. It was my fault for not adjusting my lights up sooner, as they shot up quite quick despite topping & tying them down, and I was saving the leftover tent height expecting them to grow further. This resulted in them getting burnt:

I've since topped a couple of the affected areas, raised my lights up and they have about 1-1.5 feet of space from the light but I'm torn between what to do because of the time invested.

I was thinking of waiting and seeing for another week or two but my questions are:

Can these recoup?

If I was to flower like this, I'm assuming it would probably be a crappy yield?

Do you think I should start over? Any other options?

Thank you!

I wouldn't start over. These will bounce back imo...and quicker than popping new seeds...
Just, as you say, give them a couple of weeks...

damage is from ill watering /feeding habits, not light
If I needed to keep it I'd top down to the lowest healthy set of leaves, transplant
and begin again. water when dry only, maybe with a better nutrient supply/soil.
feed 1/4 strength until plant needs more.
flowering now you can expect a shitty yield, malformed leaves , wispy buds.

Would you recommend snipping away the parts that are too fried? And I have some spots that are semi-fried, remove those too?

Possibly, I should let them get a bit drier in between waters which I'll start doing but for nutes, I've been giving them a Quarter and have only had about 3 nute feeding over the course of their life, which is pretty mild.

When you say Transplant, why?

whatever your soil, whatever your feeding and watering habits might be, your results are all telling=none of
your techniques are producing quality.
you have to start somewhere, your soil is the best place to begin because its poisoning your plant this moment.
weigh a dry pot of soil, add 1/4the the soil volume and weigh it again. dont water until its dry and light again. no guesswork needed.
those plant parts will not recover, adding anything to the mix will make it worse. good luck, about a pound : )

I'm in 5 gallon pots right now so transferring them over might be a bit difficult. I think I'll start with trimming all of the fried areas out and waiting and seeing, appreciate the advice!
