Can someone help me decide on lights to get?

I want a mixed spectrum for my next grow. I want to start out with as many lights of the blue spectrum as I can, and same for flowering, only with the red/orange spectrum.

My question to you all is "What are all of the lights I can use for vegging. What about flowering?"

If you only know a couple, great, post them. Post as many as you know of so I can build a list.

are you going with fluoros, cfl, hids? i dont have much experience with fluorescent or cfl lights but have used mh and hps before.

with hids you have a lot of options. you can go with a separate mh and hps lights for vegging and flowering respectively, you can get a switchable ballast and just change the bulbs for different stage, you can get hps bulbs for start to finish that have an advanced spectrum that put out more light in blue spectrum which enhances vegetative growth, and vice versa you can get a mh bulb with an enhanced red spectrum for better flowering. it all depends on you and your situation. tell us more about your grow, area, # of plants etc so we can help you out more.
