Can Marijuana Be Pollinated By Any Other Plants?

the other day my wife bought a bunch of mixed flowers. I noticed a lily with pollen on it.
it got me to thinking could a weed plant be pollinated with lily pollen?
maybe there are other plants that are close enough that their pollen may seed a plant.
anyway i took some pollen and brushed it on a small bud to see what happens.
has anyone here tried this before?

The only other plant that's closely related to cannabis is hops, and they are not interfertile. This experiment was tried in the 70's, didn't work, wish I still had the documentation, but it's a long time ago.

Pollen from different plants are actually VERY different from eachother. If you look at pictures of pollen, almost all plants are different from eachother, but distinct to their species. If i remember correctly they're crazy geometric shapes, and the flowers only let the pollen from the plant they are fertilize it.

<3 remembering 7th grade biology!...

Well I have oak pollen covering my plants for the last month and when i went to check/clean them the other day a small oak tree was growing in the pot? It took me a few minutes of standing there contemplating this very question when a squirrel came over and slipped ANOTHER acorn in the pot. BASTARDS!!! I thought I was on to something for a bit

out.

Yah, my wife and i have discussed it just for sh*ts and giggles, but they are mighty industrious....

You could:

Name your squirrel
Read up on his/her environment.
Receive a biography of your own personal acorn warrior.

It would be fun with a web cam...

what the hell do you mean, can you pollinate a horse? I've been pollinating sheep for years. Can't see why horses would be any different, provided there's a milk crate handy.
