Can I work out and use Cannabis at the same time?

If while working out I wanted to use Cannabis, would this in any way potentially inhibit the workout? Shouldn't some strains in fact, enhance the workout since your muscles would at some point feel more relaxed and the pain wouldn't be as bad, thus allowing you to perhaps get more reps in and do a longer work-out? What're your guys thoughts on this?

i'd say this is a "you'd know best" sorta thing. do you have a workout partner that knows what you are doing? can you be safe and high while working around shit that can crush you? i don't see any way cannabis can harm you unless you just lose focus while high and injure yourself.

I do hard calisthenics 5 days a week and I am heavily stoned 24/7. As long as you can self motivate I don't see how it would hinder you. It definitely helps me focus and eases the soreness while I heal.

I'm a PT and MMA fighter I would check what sort of high it is,a real heavy lazy stone is good for when I relax at night after a long day training. A night head high is grand to train on. Like some of the other posts it really depends on the person too!

This, depends on the smoke and how you react to it. Couchlock? Nope, that's for the day after gym when you're sore. A nice motivating high though, yeah I do that.

PSA:- If you have heart problems, this may not be a good idea. Cannabis increases your heart rate, training while stoned I notice consistently higher BPM than normal at my usual pacing. If you have any heart conditions I would either avoid using cannabis while training, reduce your level of exertion or use a heart rate monitor to keep yourself going too high.

I like og's for working out. Sativa dominant for mental motivation and some indica too to reduce inflammation. Can't beat the best of both worlds.
