CAN I MICROWAVE THE BUTANE OUT OF BHO?

I didnt JUST try it and it went from sticky to crumbly

Yea it works, but you should buy a special microwave distillation because otherwise you have no idea what your really doing to your wax, you don't know the temps when it's running so It would be wise not to try it

Depending on how much butane your nuking and the amount of fumes when it boils off...you may blow up your microwave with the fan and other electrical moving parts that could cause a spark.

I bet that thing can be used to distill all the terpenes from your material and decarb it in the same step prior to extraction with a solvent to remove the THC.
Once your extract is sufficiently purged you can add in the terpenes you would have lost during the purge.

IN MY OPINION it works. On a very small scale, a gram or 2 of BHO in the microwave COVERED for a minute or so makes it nice and crumbly.

Worth it? yes. Just keep it SEALED!!!

Conclusion: its better than smoking butane to degrade your wax to crumblier butane free wax in a sealed microwave safe container.
Further more, remember that butane sucks and is bad to eat. Please always purge your concentrates

Probably not but I have some reclaim and I'm willing to try it in the name of science!

Dude...........with the proper extractor and units of trim available medically for as low as 60 dollars...

I just dont see wax going away

Im guessing I'll have to evap all the alcohol, then add butane and microwave it.
After purging most of the butane of course :/

You could perform a column chromatography on your reclaim.
Pretty simple but the equipment for a very basic setup would cost like $300, you could rig it though i suppose.
I've never actually done it myself but i plan to get the equipment so I can eventually do the procedure on crude alcohol extracts of my buds when I harvest
