Can i grow with a 300 watt flood light?

i was wondering if a 300 watt flood light would work for growing around 1 or 2 plants. please let me know.. long time smoker 1st time grower

is it cfl or halogine? if its cfl it will prob work to sprout a plant or 2 but not full term veg.... if its halogine dont even mess w/it

floodlights unfortunately are notorious for getting real hot real fast. you may risk burning your plants with this bulb. better off getting some cfl's or tubed flouros
