Do you do your full grow in those little beer cups? And you were saying that you water your plants 3 to 4 times a day? Is that in soil?

I have done 12/12 straight from clone in a hydro set up (first hydro grow) and got close to an ounce per plant. Grew to about 2' each.

I am actually in the works of setting up for a grow something like yours but I want to veg my plants for a little while before going to 12/12. My goal is over 1lb. with a 1000w light.

Yes, well if I have room I will transplant to 1 gallon pots.(6" dia. at top)

Yes, only mid growth. At start 1 or 2 waters a day.
Week 1 each plant about 1 oz of my first nute mix.
Week 2 each plant about 2 oz of double strength of the last mix. (this is where this grow is.)

In about 2 weeks 3-4 oz 3x (maybe 4x on largest) day.

My grows on 12/12 with clones is close.

start with 5"ish plant

some boys
2 extra weeks for clone to root
I tend to end up with just a little smaller plant and a little less harvest. (around 20-28g)

Good luck, I think you can do that and with an extra 540watts you may get more. My best plant under the 430watt was around 3/4 pound.

Im not a pessimist, Im just a realist and I start my plants in cups like yours but the biggest plant I've been able to get out of those is like 8 inches max. As far as your yield projections go, I think you might be off a lil, I've had 36" plants with 2oz colas wet and when they dry they are nice 1/4 ounce buds but no where near what they weighed wet. So if your getting an ounce off one plant it needs to weigh about 8 ozs. to begin with. I dunno I'm just tossin in my two cents, i'm gonna keep an eye on this thread, cuz if you can get that much off those sized plants; I gotta see it. Good luck man.

15 plants look nice the first little signs of sex are there. In a day or three I should have a good idea of how many girls. 2 boys and no pound.

But no mater what each girl will be an ounce. (or so).



Here is one I think may be a boy. (not the eyes of a 21 yr old any more).

The chart in the back are from the last grow.
blue # = veg day height.
red# = flower day height.

If you look toward the right hand side there are (2) 12/12 males from day 1 to 20ish.

Look close there a two. One in front and one behind. The area is 3.5' x 3.5'.

But to answer

they are clones cut on 10/10/2008.
rooted on 10/24ish about 2 weeks
veg until 12/29/2008 (2 mounts and 19 days) to height of 18" now at 42"
still in flower on 2/3/2009 with just under 2 week to harvest on h2o diet only.

In 18 to 22 day's I'll know the sex. At this point I will dump the boys and transplant to 1 gal pots. (if I have room)

Most likely half will be boys. I all ways get 60% boys and 40% girls. I'd like to see that stat change. In the past I've had zero problem transplanting at this time (hell I've transplanted 3 weeks to harvest. 45" monster in 1 gal pot to 12" pot) just be carefull.



I've done this with clones and I get a little less product about 5 grams less and it takes two extra weeks for the clones to root. Yes it does start bigger but Your two weeks behind with less dry bud weight. Oh the clone are alot less work and every damn one is a girl So yes clone are better. But I'm moving in april and the grow needs to finish first. I don't have the extre time for clones so seed with 50% males it is.

No sex yet on any just new growth, This is a good sign for girls. Keep in mind their ages are 19 to 15 days and only alittle over 1/2 are 18 day or older. Boy show starting on day 18 girls may take all the way to day 24.

You can see sex on all but a few stragles, tomarrow I should be able to conferm sex on most. The down side I leave on a trip in 4 hours and MrsRocket will take over.

She can more than handle it she just won't post anything and doen't like to mess with any part of the grow opt. But she is a great wife.

subscribed, lets see what comes out of those beer cups. I got a good feeling, those 2 plants in the back look like high yielders.

MrsRocket said no change. She did send more pics, took for ever (slow hotel connection). She only looks at them 1 time a day. I'll be home tomarrow.

I think all the type #3 should show sex by now but it takes her a few days longer then myself.


this is a type 3 she is not sure about. And as you can see with the camera we have (2.1 pix) who can tell?

Now as for type 1, it occurde to me I've not grown this strain on a 12/12 only type 3 has been done on 12/12 so who knows what up with them. The strain takes longer to grow is shorter but it will be bushyer.

Blue cup = strain type #1
Red cup = strain type #3
Yellow stick = girl or she wants 1 more day to say 100% girl.
White stick = she wants me to conferm boy.

She has a hard time between new growth and boy. But she nails girls fast. I'm the opp I find boys first then girls.

Yes I agree, 1/3 the plants I've never grown 12/12, and they are behind (blue cups).

But all the red cups are on target, but a few are a little behind because I've been out of town all week.
