can i clone a rose bush?

i found a wild rose bush in my backyard. is it possible to take cuttings and root them for transplant to front and side yard? and is there any where in particular to take the cutting from or just anywhere?

Oh Yeah. Check "roses" section at the Library at the dirt doctor's web site. I'm not a big fan of Roses,.. with the exception of the US. oldest Rose Bush, AKA The Arizona Rose Bush. My Mother-in-Law brought cutting from it, and the growth rate is SCARY!. I want to build a 20 X 40 trellis, & plant some cuttings. A perfect "live" shade, etc.
