I registered on this site solely to reply to this thread, almost a decade after it was initially started, because it is so important to stop the parade of comments from these morons--who would suggest that somebody in a life-altering situation avoid taking (tiny, simple!) precautions--based on something they know nothing about.
You CAN absorb thc via your skin. It WILL process into the necessary metabolites that will cause you to test positive (any form of drug intake will eventually be processed into metabolites as your body metabolizes and passes it).
And, finally... Don't take anyone's word for it; the solution here is to *wear gloves* and the alternative is prison/losing your medication. Why is there anyone advising people to throw caution to the wind (much less people who don't even KNOW what the f%# they're talking about)??
