Can anybody give me a list and prices of a cheap 10 foot closet grow

I'm a beginner grower with a very low budget of $80.00-$120 a week and I have the perfect grow spot but I'm clueless on what to buy on a cheap income, note that I want to grow for personal use since I suffer from high anxiety/social anxiety/High adrenaline disorder. Weed is to expensive for my current situation, but I'm entirely clueless on what to buy and how to grow it and I just heard about germination but I don't even know what that is. All I need is a list to start up a very cheap basic grow (just some mids I'm looking for quantity not quality since quality is too expensive for me) I would be entirely grateful if anybody were to hook me up with a cheap supply list, sincerely (name undisclosed)

the closet is 10 foot wide and 9 foot tall and about 3-4 feet from closet entrance to back wall, of course if i had the money I would grow in my room which is 20"x15"

I'm in same boat, looking for a doctor in canada for legal use but I would suggest making a cab grow. Look around kijiji, craigstlist, thrift store. Look for a closed cabinet.

Next look for 2 working pc fans. After you have the fans look for 2 12v cellphone charger. (Most cell phone chargers are 12v). Look on youtube how to connect the pc fan with the cell phone charger. Slice the end of the cell phone charger where it would connect to the phone. Slice the very end of the pc fan wire. I would suggest using wire slicers for the next part but a razor blade or something sharp can cut it. Next you will see 2 little wires in the wire you sliced from both the pc fan and cellphone charger. You will see red and black, or 2 different colours. You get the black wire, get the copper/ metal part and connect to the black metal wire from charger. Do the same for red wire from pc to red wire to charger. Use those orange twist things to stop electric from escaping when you conect the two. You can use electrical tape as well to connect the too but make sure the entire metal wires from the two are covered in electric tape.

Get 2 powerbars with circuit breaker. Buy those light sockets you connect to cfls. Buy atleast 3 cfl 2700k and 3 6500k. (The "k" rating is listed on the box of the lights).

Buy mylar or window shield reflector (sun reflector stuff, mylar won't be at any store so most likely go for sun window reflectors, buy enough to cover the whole inside of your cab).

Buy a simple themometer. (Spelling might be wrong, I'm a bit high).

Buy a saw or something to cut the wood, also have wood glue or nails and hammer, depending what your using.

Buy a ph testing kit. (Not needed but recommeneded, you'll need it eventually)

Buy seeds or get a bag of weed and look for seeds.

Buy a timer (not needed but helps).

Make a carbon filter (I haven't yet but there's threads on here how to)

Building time:

Get a sharpy or marker and trace the two pc fans on the cab (one near the top, one near the bottom).

Cut the marker line. Place the bottom fan blowing inside, place fan blowing outside near top (head rises).

Glue/ put a nail at the top inside for the 2 powerbars. (Lights will connect to socket and face down). (You can also create a chain connected to lower and raise lights but I haven't built yet).

Tape down wires and cut a little hole where the plugs will go through. Make sure wires are taped using ductape to cabinet so they won't move.

Cover the cabinet with your mylar/ sun reflector/ white paint.

Plug into timer/ another powerbar if need.

Post pictures to me so I can see what it turned out to look like. Also put some christmas decorations for christmas. Lol.

Ps- look at my thread northern lights grow. It'll show you mine. Mines not perfect yet, still want to build light blockers for fans and build carbon filters.

Hope that helps.

basically think about lights, air circulation, and good soil.

for the seeds, you need some bagseed. ask your dealer if he has any dank seeds hes saving next time you pick up!

air circulation is critical, your plants constantly need fresh co2.

for the soil get something organic, non fertilized, and mix it with PERLITE (sold at most home depots) at a 85-15 ratio. for nutes just chill and either go generic with micros or mollasses when the time is right.

as for your lights, i would say invest in a medium sized HPS. you could supplement with cfl's, but i think youll be happier with an HPS as a main light source. you need the bulb and ballast and a hood/refelctor, search around for some good deals.

with $120 a week, it might take you a little over a week to get this set up, but perservere my brother!!

If its his first grow I would go CFL. He's on a budget and wants to start right away. HPS get hot quick and they aren't the best for a beginner. I know HPS produce WAY better but it's better to practice and mess up on something cheaper.

I would like to switch to HPS after I run some trial and error. :)

HPS will give you problems with heat unless your extraction is good. If you are going with Xoshua's sensible advice on two computer fans to keep costs down - do not even dream of HPS! CFL is much more forgiving and should get you off to a good start at low cost. Dont forget to line the walls of the closet with mylar or - to save money - baking foil to get the absolute max out of your light. That sounds a nice size of closet that you have and gives you the opportunity to do some good work. In the medium term when money permits think in terms of a modern LED system.

3 yrs old thread got a reply.... haha ...
Anyway - whoever gets to read this thread now, forget about baking foil, reflectivity of aluminium is crap compared to mylar. And flat white paint is even better (and cheaper) than mylar. If you are on the budget get yourself matt white paint and some brushes.
