can a plant un hermi?

i had 5 plants. 2 males, 3 females. 2 of my females are now showing balls 2 weeks into flowering.

I dont want to flower only 1 plant, so i think im just gonna roll with it. I think its stress induced though because its been getting close to 100*F in my flower box. I cant leave it open though because of secrecy and smell.

So if I pick the balls I find and get my heat situation under control will the plant stop being hermi or is the damage done? If I continue to pick the balls off can I keep this batch under control and minimize seeds?

I built a DIY cool tube, but hooked my exhaust directly to it (air sucks in cool tube at base of bulb, runs along bulb in cool tube, then into duct which exhausts out my chimney).

Will I be able to get temps down by disconnecting my cool tube from the exhaust and getting a dedicated cooling fan to recirc outside air? Or will I have to increase the exhaust (though I think the exhaust for air flow and smell is appropriate)?

More info: flower box = 3'D X 4'W X5.5'H. 400watt HPS.

I think you are better off just flowering one plant but if the temps are that high, then the female will probably do the same thing... You do need to bring cooler air in from outside... Cause what you are doing now isn't working...

just cut off her balls, don't rupture the sack and watch for them to see if they don't grow back

look up dutchmasters reverse and penetrator and carefully check your plants everyday and remove the male flowers if you find them, be careful, they can pop and spread pollen if your not careful with them.

The air outside is no cooler than the air in my basement thats getting pulled into the room. This set up will be great in the winter as I wear slippers, sweat shirts, and hats and keep my furnace on 45* when im not home and sleeping and 55* when I am home.

I am running my lights from 5pm-5am because I need to be able to check on them and work on them between 5-9pm.

the male flowers are very young. i have been plucking them the same day i see them form. i dont know what a mature male flower would look like, but these are very small and still seem very hard. so i dont think any pollen is getting out. i checked for reverse and penetrator online and it seems like its $18 and $25 respectively for a liter each. will this product be carried at a hydro store or a marijuana growing store? i have not had a chance to go, but i am going to try tomorrow. all the reviews ive read have said it works wonders. i just wonder if it will be worth it for my final product?

yes, it is worth it. otherwise you should kill it and any other hermies you may get. if you buy that stuff you can keep this plant and any hermies you get in the future, a bottle that size should last you a very very long time.
your local store may stock it, some do, some dont.

im hesitant to kill the hermi for fear of it being stress induced and having my final plant hermi. then i only get one plant thats hermi'd anyway. if they are all gonna hermi anyway, why not flower all 3? hopefully i can find the dutch master products and save my crop though

I had a plant showing a few balls, not many. I picked off maybe 15 sacks, sprayed with reverse, and never had another problem. The stuff is great. It all depends on how much your plant wants to hermie... if it deicdes to full on grow male flowers everywhere, you might find that spraying reverse only helps for a few days. But you should know, REVERSE IS A WASTE OF TIME if you do not correct on going stress. If you have light/heat stress no spray will help the balls from forming.

And yes it is possible for a female plant that is presenting balls to stop on it's own, though I can't say how common it is.
