110+ degrees in California's central Valley today, how do U keep the girls cool?
I find that hotter the better for my bitches. They're getting 15-20 gallons of water each and every day, and those numbers go up during heat waves, and as they get BIGGER! Looks like it's going to be a good season if it's this hot already in the season.
Share your thoughts and plant care advise during heat waves.

Ya. 108 here yesterday and today.My tent is 92 right now with lights coming on in about 1 hour.My plants seem to like the heat as well. I still like to keep them under 95. I am going to put a hole in the wall in garage and suck air from under house. It is so much cooler there. I keep forgetting to get a good filter. Dont want to suck up any mold spores or something I dont want in the garage.

I use shade cloth. It seemed to protect the seedlings I just started pretty decent. The 2 footers I have seem to love the heat. The Indica doms more so than the Sativa doms. The humidity is ridiculously low like 15 percent. Dry as hell. The plants seem to be fine with it though. I just foliar feed them in the morning and mist them at night. Try to keep them a little better hydrated this way.They seem to be happy with this routine.

High 90s this past weekend but cooling down to mid 80s this week, perfect!!! On nute days I get started super early to make sure the water stays nice and cool and on plain water days I like to wait as long as I can to give the roots some nice cool water. On days over a 100 i'll spray the plants down around 1 or 2pm and they seem to appreciate it.

I have a question. Do you stick to your nutrition schedule in this extreme heat and if you do, would you do 1/2 strength or regular strength? :-D thankewe.

I agree, some water first then feed. Seems like the soil would absorb the nutes easier.. Thanks for the quick answer....off to feed. :-D

100+ Damn thats a trip. I live in San Diego and our weather is almost too good to be true. Could be the chem trails controlling weather over here? Lol


San diego hot is more like direct sun hot, unlike IE where its more like oven microwave hot.

Currently 68 degrees almost 10 am

I heard plants slow down production after 90 degrees?
I had some plants up in up to 110 last summer and it was
hard to tell if the plants slowed down production or not.
They probably built an insane amount of trichomes though
to protect the plants from the sun?

If you ask me I think San Diego has the BEST weather in the country!
Lucky you, but I know it costs a LOT more to live there then where I'm at.

IE is 75 right now. Cant wait to get out of this shit hole and up to SLO!
