I did think ahead a little when I built it, and I tied off the strings frequently so that if one broke or needed to be removed, the whole thing would not unravel.

Very wise with the strings. I think you will be much happier bringing everything horizontal and level then letting only the bud sites up through the screen. They should all end up something like this. I just found this pic with a quick Google search.

Here is the COC 12/12 fs. This has absolutely no smell. Pretty fast grower.

And here is everything but the seeded Berry. 2 COCs in the back. The 12/12 fs front left. 2 Berry Ryders front right. I need to figure out the light pattern of this hood and get to some more growing going under this thing.

Wanted to share one more thing. These leaves are from the COCs currently growing.

The big one is from the 12/12 fs. The other is from one of the COCs in the back. I'm thinking the 12/12 fs may not be a COC. Hhmmmmmmmmm

Nice!! Plants look awesome. I like those cartons too. Talking about stretching them down the light. I always wanted to try this.

Top view (somewhat). Let the plant start growing then train it 90 degrees and let it grow horizontal. Do the same with another plant but the opposite direction. How many rows depends on your lights obviously.

And a side view. Does this make sense?

I have done this with good results don't bother with a net just use string what I found is when the plants start getting bent over the main growth tip slows to almost an halt and the middle plant stems take the lead so be aware of that or u might end up with 3 bushes raised in the centre

Rob - Just a suggestion... You may want to bring those tall ones down and tuck below the screen….
I decided to go for it. It was kind of brutal, but nothing bent or snapped, everything flexed pretty easily. Because of the extreme repositioning, a lot of leaves are sort of upside down, but I'll bet by the time I wake up tomorrow morning, the plant will have righted itself. It's pretty healthy overall, I think it will weather this storm and come back strong.

Looking good dream2003!

One of the lessons I learned in this first grow, is not to overcrowd my space! You gave your girl ample room to be everything she can be, you'll get the most from her that way. I tried to veg mine as long as possible, but after 40 days I simply ran out of room, and now the two girls are crashing into each other and will be competing for light.

So I'm 15 days into flower, and they are doing well (all things considered). The GSC is recovering from the late intense re-positioning I gave it after it shot through the scrog. It's almost caught back up to the CJ, soon I'll be able to straighten the light board back out again. It seems as though that initial surge has tapered off, and their growth has become more regular.

Some buds are just starting to form.

cy_scrog_day55.jpg

Since I have a flat bank of lights and I'm trying to keep them as close as possible to the leaves, a couple of times I've had to LST back down to the SCROG -- otherwise one lone branch that was shooting would require I raise all the lights just to make room for it. The plants are growing mostly around the edges where the tips were pushed, I suppose that's to be expected.

This is where CFLs weakness comes in, because the leaves in the center are further from the lights and because of the lack of usable light depth, they will not grow as robustly as they might have with a stronger light system. It's all good though, there should be plenty when she's done. This closet design of mine (first try...) is heavily flawed, biggest problem being poor ventilation. This will be the first and last grow in this space. I'm getting high humidity during the dark 12 hours, and I may have mold issues if/when the buds get dense. So ironically, the fact that the leaves are not as thick in the middle may end out being what saves this plant.

There is so much I will do differently next time.

@HighLowGrow just curious about the stretch as you've grown out a couple into flower would you think its OK to flower? would she fill out most of the net? Maybe another week veg just don't want her getting root bound as I seen that kill bud size

I would say go a few more days to a week then flip it. That looks pretty darn perfect.

COC 12/12 fs. I either had to bend this thing in half or raise all the other plants. So I did this....................

And it fits between everything. A win win.

LOL. I have never counted veg and flowering times. I tried to go back and pick a date stamp or something off a pic at the switch to 12/12, but can't figure it out. Maybe when I'm not so medicated.

On another note. Yesterday I snipped a itty bitty tiny popcorn bud from down low on this COC and dried it overnight. Just stuck it in the vape a bit ago. Very nice. This morning I did a very rough trim and cut her at the base.

I kinda rushed this plant to find out how the smoke was and to see if I wanted to produce some fem seeds. I consider this a small harvest. With a little bit of effort, I can see some very nice yields from COC.
Yes I will definitely be making some fem seeds soon. :weed: :hump: Can't wait til it's cured.

Finally figured out the first date of 12/12 on my two COCs. 2/13/15.

I cut one at the base and it's currently hanging. The other needs another week+. So far the flowering time looks like 7-8 weeks.

12/12 fs - This one was getting a little tall so I bent it over and tied it to itself. It smells like the other two COCs just not as strong.

@HighLowGrow I no the OG Critical was pritty bud rot resistant going till Oct13 with -4 nights 30 - 40 kilo winds with 1 gram lost to rot, I think the late finish was do to rainy cloud covered fall with hardly any sun it the last 4 weeks. I kinda stumbled upon something with growing in 5 gallon pots growing in fields till September then moving to westwerd facing hills or Cliff's to help with early flowering will be giving this a go this year but thinking eastwerd facing hills or cliffs will work better but will work with what's in my area with a big + a big watering hole year round 20 ft away I think this outdoor season with my watering hole find will make it that much more fun this year instead of transporting 2 60 gallon barrels of water then putting that into two 5 gallon pails then transporting those half a football field away hahaha that was not fun even with an 8 pack of Bud lol when things dried up in the early flowering season. Might be doing a more organized updated outdoor thread.

@HighLowGrow 12/12 fs maybe the 12\12 helped it grow larger with the more night time as to the other coc's being 24\0, I noticed my coc to have big leafs on main stem in the beginning but as I defoliated those leafs the newer leaf growth on other stems seemed to be not as big lol just tryna figure it out hahaha
