Calcium deficiency?

She recovered. I think it may have been magnesium since it started bottom up (if what I’ve been told is correct). I didn’t really have the time or energy to treat it organically. I just used Alaska cal-mag product I got at wal mart, hopefully it wont effect my soil too much. I’ve been told aloe Vera is a good organic solution. Anyone tried this?

Just put up pics in white light next time. It's impossible to help when pics are LED because no one can determine color or details well.

That aloe vera is a good solution for magnesium def? Never heard this. I have heard that aloe vera is used as a rooting compound on cuttings. If you have a question like that, it might be wise to try Google first and do your reading.

With calcium. I’m sorry. Well I was told by another grower it was a good organic solution for a lack of calcium... you don’t have to play “hall monitor” bro. Regardless of how it appears, I’m not that stupid. I ask questions because I want answers from this forum. I understand how google works. If you don’t know, or don’t want to contribute then just skim over it man. I don’t need someone criticizing all my post.

It looked like a magnesium issue, as calcium starts at the top with new growth. With that being said, be careful, as all the amendments you put in, will start locking other elements out. The newest pic is showing what can be the start of either a sulfur or iron deficiency. Bat guano being as high as it is in P, and plants don't actually use too much phosphorus, can lock iron out. An organic way to add it would have been to use epsom salt, you get the mag and sulfur in one. Plants look nice otherwise, best of luck!

I never went into the amounts or potency of the amendments I added. I’m not a beginner when it comes to gardening, just indoor cannabis growing. It’s all organic, and really not THAT hot. I know these water only soils are WAY hotter than mine. I only added a pinch of each fert to the soil. Except worm castings, and again I add coco to my soil. The coco will dilute soil. The reason I’m assuming I’m having any defiency issues. They are growing very fast. They aren’t showing (never have) showed any kind of burn. As far as lock out, I doubt it. These plants aren’t young anymore. I’ve watched them grow the whole process. In my opinion they are pretty healthy given the conditions of my grow room.... next time I mix soil I’ll break it down. I did this batch slightly different than I normally would. My point is my soil isn’t hot, and the teas aren’t either. Thanks for the advice though. I’ll try to get better pics because I’m not sure what you see

Yep magnesium was my first thought.
You had the magnesium V
I don't think it was a case of deficiency at all though.
More likely lockout.
Ph, or antagonism going on.
IMHO, back off on the feeding.

What am I feeding it bro??? How are you going to tell me to back off the feeding when you don’t know shit about how I fed this plant. What are you basing this assumption that I have a lockout issue? I’m not sure where I put up a feeding routine...

Because in your first pics, it was magnesium. That's it.
Plant was small. You don't get deficiency in plants that young.
Just saying.
I wasn't saying NOW. I was saying then.

Tim I think you may have filled in a piece of a puzzle for me. I think I had the magnesium V you mention and I was wondering what was going on. And I knew this plant had more nutes than it wants but didn't know what exactly was wrong. See the pic at this link https://www.rollitup.org/t/grow-potpouri-comments-welcome.957431/#post-14041623 .

Does this look like magnesium V? The warning on that strain is to not feed too much N in the beginning and hold off on P and K in flower. But I didn't think N was the problem because the leaves weren't dark green. I repotted to remixed much cooler soil which definitely helped. Sort of looks like the V mista had in that it's lighter on the outside. Still, the answer wasn't add Mg.

Probably, your mix was just a little hot, is all.
Sounds like you solved your issue, with the colder mix.
IMHO 9/10 times, it's over fertilizing or ph.
Barely ever a deficiency. Unless it's a fairly large plant.

It's pretty tricky for a weed.

*High Strung* perhaps a different strain?.:peace:
