So if they pass prop64 in ca what would that mean for growers who sell their crops...should I sell off my lights and what not? Also that would that mean for the quality of the product? Most strains were developed in home growers basements and backyards. Would this mean the end for that good cali fire? To me it seems that there might be a big downside for prop 64. Just seems that the guys who have made a living off growing might have to turn to other means to get a few extra bucks. Would other crimes rise such as robbery and car theft?

seems that being a legal MMJ card holder is a worse crime to LEO than being one of those gang banger street dealers that run around shooting each other.do you think they might be getting protection money from the cartels? :):):)

nevada is voting on a similar law and large production facilities are being built in anticipation of question 2 passing. as an MMJ card holder I grow my own. and think prices will drop as more producers come online unfortunately I think quality will drop as well.

isn't that business as usual in this country? cannabis is a high profit crop.where there is money their is corruption. "we have the best politicians money can buy. the problem is that most people can't afford to buy one" in nevada MMJ patients are still able to grow up to 12 plants for personal use. and under question 2 anyone would be allowed to grow up to 6 plants for personal use without a license or permit. (no government record of their activities) we just can't sell our surplus but we can give it a way. I think if small producers up their game they may find a market for their product. i'm willing to pay more for organically grown vine ripened locally grown tomatoes because they taste so much better than factory farm grown tomatoes and a dealer that one of the cancer patients I give my surplus to recently offered me twice the wholesale market price for my home grown cannabis after this cancer patient let him try some.people like RM3 who know how to grow good tasting, one hit weed will find a market regardless of how many factory farms flood the market

Kind of like coffee I guess. There's crap coffee and there's premium coffee. The good producers still manage to sell their coffee even though the world is flooded with it.

Smoked medical weed is a scam, and so is decarbed oral medical weed. THC has no medical benefits that can't be replicated by other herbal compounds without suppressing your immune system, making you more vulnerable to bacterial and viral infections and cancer. The only real purpose for THC is to get people intoxicated, but at a steep price to health. THCA is a medicine, but THC is a drug and not even a natural product. It is a modification of the natural product THCA by heat. It would be accurate to say that THC is a synthetic product. The synthetic process just happens to be rather simple.

that flies in the face of the actual experience of many MMJ users including myself. you sound like the cheating husband who asked his wife."are you going to believe me or your lying eyes" do you work for a pharmaceutical company or drug cartel that wants to keep cannabis illegal? or perhaps LEO or the DEA and are afraid of budget cuts that would result from legalization?

Cannabis MAKES you have anxiety. Besides, is trading PTSD for a compromised immune system and 4 times as much periodontal disease really that great a deal? I think there are other drugs to treat anxiety. It appears to be helpful for seizures, in which case the side effects may be worth it. It also would certainly be good for diseases where suppressing the immune system is a good thing but otherwise, probably a bad choice. THCA does appear to have a lot of potential though, because it doesn't directly affect the CB2 receptors like THC and even CBD do. So I can't just write mj off as a medicine. You just have to avoid heating it or smoking it or it will become a harmful semi-synthetic compound. And selling it as a recreational drug is insanity.
