Three weeks of spraying and two branches have male parts!

Interestingly the branch I sprayed for a week has thrown just as much balls as the branch I sprayed for three weeks.

C99 is another monster... had to super crop the main cola.

I'll move them into my big room in a couple of weeks once my other grow is done.

Feeling a lot more up beat about the whole thing now :bigjoint:

So this stuff appears to do as advertized...

I see a lot of immature seed especially on the C99 so I'm a happy man :bigjoint:

I cut the male ball branches off, they've done their job

I'm satisfied to have this sweet & fruity quick sativa as my keeper for now, will prob run 4 or 6 in a scrog setup they're so long and bendy should be perfect.DSCN3046.JPG DSCN3049.JPG

Bodacious! Too bad they recommend you not to smoke that bud because you could turn it in to hash after gathering the seeds. Have you grown the C99 before? What does it taste like? The one I saw smelled like kool-aid fruit punch powdered drink mix but tasted like potpourri or real flowers...

I plan to smoke whats left after seed harvest for sure!! I selectively sprayed two branches only so Im not worried about it.

C99 is known for its pineapple and grapefruit phenos and the few that I've grown have had a really pleasant fruity smell, not skunky at all and tastes sweet. the high is nice too.. social, energizing and giggly

Your experience is invaluable; thanks for sharing!!

I'm planning to do the same kind of thing soon, only I'll probably just have Cindy getting it on with herself.

Can you recap the process of your success for the future generations? When to start spraying, how, how much to use, pro-tips, etc.

Thanks a lot! :D

Well it was my first time using a seeding spray so Im far from pro but Im happy to recap..

I started spraying once daily from the day I switched to 12/12

I started spraying two branches and went pretty heavy with the spray until I realized it was running out too quick, then switched to much lighter spraying on one branch only.

It turned out both branches got balls anyway and both plants are full of seed now so it seems you dont really need tons of the stuff to do the job.

I would recommend one or two sprays really close up to the nodes on the branch/es you want to turn.

Maybe even an eye dropper would work, someone earlier in the thread suggested some people use a small paint brush or similar.

Anyway to be safe continue for two weeks and sometime between the second and third week you should have male pollen!

I didnt do anything special to transfer the pollen to the flowers, just let it happen naturally.

Thank you so much!

See I assumed you had actively transferred the pollen to the flowers. I was planning on pulling this off in a space with 9 different girls (of different strains, lots of freebies), but now I realize they will all be full of seeds! Then again, the prospect of 9 different C99 crosses is pretty exciting!
