c99 & Power Flower : Voyage II of the Space Cab

Hey all, this is the second run of this grow cab that I built - aka: The SpAce CaB

This grow is feminized c99 by Female Seeds, and Power Flower by Royal Queen....Both are mostly sativa and short flower times...Around 8 weeks.....

Medium: Pro-mix HP, WC, perlite, and dolomite lime

Nutes: Jacks's Classic 20-20-20 and Jack's Blossom Bloom 10-30-20

Additional Stuff: Floralicious Plus, Liquid Seaweed, Teas from the local hydro stores, and, maybe a couple shots of GH Rapid Start for root enhancement.

Lighting: I will probably be somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 cfl watts, and 48 T5HO watts...I may add more.

DAY 2 of 12-12

Just transplanted last night....They should go bananas now that they have bigger pots.....They went from 1.2 gallons to 5.6 gallons...They love the stuff I am feeding them, and have exploded each time I have fed them.....And that was in Vegging !!! This is flowering now.....This should get good ! lol.....I only hope they don't grow too much as I only have about 2' of space that I can move the lights vertically....The plants are around 9" to 10" tall right now.

Buckle up, and Commence Warp Drive !!! Off to the Deeeeeep Spaaaces of the Universe !!!! Awww Yaaaaaa !!! lol

nothing like making a big mess, LoL. those plants look great, they'll fill that cab in no time. that root shot looks so cool. good job bro!!

DAY 6 of 12-12

Well they took a day to get adjusted to the new pots, and now they are exploding...The more sativa looking one has made me move the chain link up a link each of the last two days while I have not had to do it for the indica looking plant....Tomorrow I will give them their first water in their new pots, followed the next day by nutes.....My schedule will be to feed following every watering....

OUTDOOR UPDATE:

That small plant all by itself is the lone survivor out of my original 6 outdoor plants...I seriously stressed them, and this is what I have left...I believe it's a DF Critical Jack....Believe it or not that plant is like 3 or 4 weeks old, lol...But since I have transplanted, and gave some organic stuff she seems to be getting bigger.....I also purposely raised the light to try and get her to grow taller...She was not growing vertically at all...So far seems to be working some what I think...

The other two seedlings are another DF CJ ,and a Samsara GLP (Green Love Potion)...And yes, I mixed these up, and have no clue which is which, lol.

UPDATE: Day 13 of 12-12

The c99 is outgrowin' the Power Flower....I have to raise the lights one or two chain links a day....still no smell on the c99....There is the one main cola, and I think I counted around 20 other chutes !!!

Hey Muck, if you are out there, and not in your weed jungle....See that last pic ? Check the large fan leaves coming off the main stalk....They are red in color.....Do you remember or know if yours was like this ?

Rest of the Space Cab Update:

I have the top left chamber with 4 clones...2 from the c99, and 2 from the Power Flower....I did this a week or so ago when I was drinking...Seems like they are OK....I made a homemade cloning system....I had about a half inch of cloning solution that was in the drip pans, and was there for about a week....Then all of a sudden yesterday they were all bone dry....I am thinking the clones grew a tap route, and they then sucked up all the cloning solution...Kinda like me and my drinking that night, lol.....

So I have since refilled the drip pans, and I also took off the clothes I had which were blocking the light....I also have an e-bay scored heating pad under there.....If any of these survive they will go outdoors....They have short flowering periods....

The bottom left chamber has the 3 outdoor plants in there...I just transplanted them from propaganda air-pots to 1 gallon air-pots.....

I gotta say man I really dig your cab. Love how surrounded those ladies are by the light!

i'm growing Female Seeds C99 again this summer. love the strain but they seem to stretch right up to harvest day. last summer they grew to over 5 feet tall. lst is the method for this grow to keep them lower. GL

Hey Spaaacie. Yep, some of the stalks on my large fan leaves were red too. I read that it is because of the Sativa in them. They are looking great!

I also looked up your Power Flower from Royal Queen and found that Barneys Farm also sell a variety called Flower Power that is almost 100% indica instead of mostly Sativa... Those tricky bass turds!

They both are supposed to be 8 week strains...but I recently saw someone who has a Power Flower that is currently on 13 weeks.....I hope it's only 6 more weeks.

Oh man...The c99 exploded again overnight, and that was just from watering !!! I just gave her a nice nute mix.....

There are only 5 chain lengths above the c99 plant ! There are still 8 or 9 links above the PF, and the PF is sitting on a 2x4 ! lol

I may end up having to learn how to supercrop....

Also, I thought I was only going to have one big cola on the c99....Well, it appears there are two colas with stalks as big as the main stalk...They are just not as high as the main cola....So looks like that Fimming did something, lol.

UPDATE: Day 18 of 12-12

Well the c99 has pretty much outgrew the Space Cab...I'm hoping it's done growing....I might have one chain link left.....I might be able to screw the support screw in some more but that's about it.....Looks like if she keeps growing I'll have to LST the big colas.....There are 3 main Colas on her....

The Power Flower is not getting any larger really but she looks real healthy....

Looks like my first time cloning may be a success...I have transplanted 3 from my homemade setup with the gro-plugs into soil now with just one left....

Here's a few pics of the clone stuff, and one of the Space Cab....That power Flower is sitting on 2x4s...Gives you an idea how nutzz that c99 has grown.....

Supposedly 8 week strains....so about 5 weeks

here's a few more pics I took today....I am looking into lollypopping....There are some long thin chutes underneath with small buds...Was wondering if I should cut them off or not ?. They are so thin, and weak (the branches) that some are drooping over...I don't think they will produce much.....These are on the c99 not the Power Flower.....The Power Flower is just the opposite....She is a brute, and she will kick your ass, lol..... The last pic shows one of those chutes...

those girls are huge, you need to pick indicas for that cab, those sativas fill it up so fast. but they sure look good!!

well I also went from using a 5 gallon air-pot to a 7 gallon air-pot..That might have something to do with it too, lol....You want to talk huge ? Try moving one of them when they are fully drenched, lol....Hopefully I don't throw my back out this grow....
