I use FFOF and their nutes along with it. liked results of it up until weeks 4 in bloom, always shows deff. with cal-mag, recently i just got a nice hanna combo meter and tested the nutes mixed up in R/o water it was like at crazy 4.7.

I was told not to use hydro up and down ph adjusters cause it will kill benies. well i also know that 4.7 will too. so what am i to use? any suggestion?

I'm figuring this is why im getting my lock out... Does anyone usually encounter this problem with the FFOF line up?

Liquid ferts of all types fuck up the PH and leave salt deposits which is why we flush every 3-4 weeks, depending on usage and pot size. As for PH up and down, they will not kill beneficiaries. You have to maintain the soil's PH or you will lose the plant. In your case, you can mix up ferts then add baking soda until the soup is at 6.5.

Also get you a 5 gallon bucket or two and place outside in strategic spots to catch rain water. The PH in rain water around here is close to 9.0. If my soil is real acidic, I don't even lower that PH, I use it as is to raise the soil ph. You can also top dress your plant's soil with pellet lime. It'll help stabilize your PH and adds Ca and Mg to the soil.

Again, ALL liquid ferts will knock your PH off. It's always wise to mix ferts in and then adjust the water's PH.
