Buying cxa3070 3000K AB's, a 20-pack, who wants some ? (Europe)

Hey guys, learned a lot lately from this site and I know what i want now for a setup.
It's gonna be a 2'x4' closet grow with 8 cxa3070 3000K with some 5000K later on in the middle.

So I would buy a 20-pack if I would be certain to be able to resell the other 12, else it's gonna be Z2 or Z4's.
I live in Belgium so if there are other people from Europe who want to buy AB's, let me know...

hey Durei, same problem here, no pm button, also no like button and i've seen them used before on this site; How much would you want ? still have to order them too, but once i know for sure there gonna sell, i'll go for it.) Erlking would like to have 4 so still 8 left

If so many people want to share the order, I'll pass. Thought you'd still havent found anyone to share with, and I need more then 8. I'll buy a 20 pack myself. Thanks anyway!

Altough nobody will know me, I've been reading on RIU for almost a year. Maybe I'll share some of my projects with you, like you all shared your info with me!

The only thing I dislike with the internet, and specially this subject, is that you dunno what kind of people can see what I'm sharing. Thats the main reason I haven't posted anything yet.

I have 12 left, I would sell them for 40€ + shipping costs.
I don't have any experience selling things through internet, so do not really know what the best way is to proceed.
First comes, first goes i guess. I'd rather sell them 4 at a time, just to be certain not to get stuck with a few remaining, but will if jad3 and uzerneims each want 2, it works too lol
My buddy who is sponsoring the whole thing, will be buying them tonight. In a few months i'll have enough money for this whole project and he makes it so i can start now. Thumbs up for that guy :) !
I'll post the building process in another thread (meanwell drivers, heatsinkusa and cxa3070 3000K AB to start with, followed with 730nm and some 5000K cobs.
I'm also gonna try the base-co2-growtronix system with a lenovo tablet i do not use anymore.
My closet should arrive before the end of the year, but as soon as the pieces for the lamp arrive i'll start building. 'If you build it, it will come' lol can't wait :)

My buddy tried tonight to buy them, but had troubles with the site, he's gonna try again tomorrow. I also mailed the site myself.
Other pieces (heatsinks, growtronix system) are put on hold, it's too much money for my buddy to lend, i'll have to wait for an inheritage, should be before end this year.
He wants to buy the cobs now, because there are so few.
Keep you guys posted !

Does anybody knows a site like heatsinkusa.com here in Europe ?

hello , i'm interesting to buy two of them , i will grow in small tent 60*60 cm or 2*2 ft ( just for one or two small plant for personal use )

i believe two will be enough for this area ? is it possible to buy two ?
i live in Belgium too , it will be nice if you show us how to build it , i have no experience with DIY electronics .

Hello Mathias, no problem, i guess, will have to buy them first and it's on hold for another week, the guy who's helping me (would buy the cobs) went to center parks with his wife and children for a week.
When he's back, he'll try again, had some problems with the site; else i'd had them by now and the transactions could begin. It's just a matter of time, so stay tuned ;)

I go for 1/sqf @1050mA max, like epicfail, but i guess if you hang them a bit higher, 2 @1400mA would work.

me neither (experience with DIY), but it will be an adventure ! I have a pretty good idea what's it gonna be and i'll show my progress in detail (also where i got the other parts)

The biggest challenge for the moment is finding a heatsink for my setup. (and waiting for some money to get started ;), I already bought the closet, so no turning back now lol)

Great to get so much help from so many people in so little time, it's an 'active' forum alright !
Don't know exactly how I got here, but be sure I'll hang around. I think it's Supra with his efficienty-charts that brought me here, and epicfail's setup made me pull the trigger.

For drivers I know I'll use 2 Meanwell HLG-120H-C1050-B, don't know yet how i'll dim them.
If I could connect them to something like this, that would be sweet ! I'm still undecided if i'd use 5000K cobs in the middle or Lumia 5.2 grow lights.

I want to grow Durban Poison, will start from seed and do some pheno-hunting first round (8 plants), and eventually it will be 3 plants, I live with 5 other people who smoke, so it's just for us and a buddy who's helping me.
I'm sick and tired smoking White Widow & 'Amnesia' Haze, a light haze does wonders for me, but the 'amnesia' is wrecking my brain.
IMO it is the too high percentage THC that gives marihuana a bad name, it's an interesting time now if you see how they examen the many medicinal benifits and strains are grown for specific cannabinoids.
I am a medicinal user who's just in need for some 'day'weed. 8.4% THC, 3% CBD and a bit of THC-V should be the ideal coctail for me. I've grown Durban Poison outside when i was young, and it was sweet !

you know .. it's really nice coincidence , i was confused about getting this Bin of CXA 3070 , i think you already know the available choice in Europe is Z2 or Z4 if you wanna buy a few of them by mouser or digikey , so it's a good chance to say thank this site and all members who give all of this nice information and share their experience with the others .

actually i'm gonna buy 4 pieces if possible , because it will be difficult to get more if needed in future .

so it seems you will go with passive cooling , it's my choice too but some guys here still build some nice COB grow lights with active cooling ( small heat sink with fan attached to it ) , i didn't read a lot about cooling these LED but maybe some guys can advise us about the best cooling method for beginners .

are you planing to build one light with 8 COB's ? and do you wanna buy the drivers from Belgium ?
maybe we can order the same drivers together too , if you wanna go with 1400 mA for each LED .

sorry it's a lot of questions but i don't wanna fu**ed up by doing some small stupid mistake .
