Burnt's micro SOG

Time to start a journal for the new year. :bigjoint:

I'm changing up my mini bush garden to a perpetual sog, and will show the progress here along with whatever else I happen to be growing at the time. Just getting started, but the plan is to get to a perpetual harvest of 7 colas a week averaging 10 grams per cut. Once rooted the cuts go straight to flower with no veg.

Running 400 watts over 2'x3'. I leave the light on 24/7 and manually move the plants to a dark cab every 12 hours. This doubles my flowering space while having only one light, so I've found it to be worth the hassle.

Containers are 2 liter soda bottles filled with black gold soil. Nutes are age old grow and bloom.

For now I'll be filling it with a few phenos of Qleaner and some personal chemdd crosses. Will be popping more beans and adding lots of variety eventually.

Feel free to comment, bullshit whatever you want...

First up are some beans I popped to run while I get the perpetual crop going. They are 2 weeks into 12/12.

Shiskadawg - shiskaberry x chemdawg dd

Shiskadawg #1

Shiskadawg #2

And both of the shiskadawgs..

Dawgcough - cough x chemdawg dd

Dawgcough #1

Dawgcough #2

And both dawgcoughs

Just dropped this triple d bean. It's chemdawg d x chemdawg dd

First batch of cuts waiting to root. Mostly qleaner with some dawgcough #1 thrown in.

These are my entries for the party cup competition thread. 2 phenos of qleaner and dawgcough #1.

Thanks for stopping by everyone! Feel free to chat or ask any questions. I'll do my best to help. Nothing fancy going on here, I like to keep it simple and provide enough for myself so I don't have to buy. Hopefully this works and is just another example of how anyone who wants to can grow their own with a little space and time. Not including seed purchases, I spent less than 400 bucks on grow equipment. After a year of mini bush growing and about 35-40 ounces later (total for the year), I'd say it paid for itself :bigjoint: I think we can get closer to that 1 gpw mark growing this style though. Worth a try anyway.

Dawgcough 1 turned out to be a dude.. Disposed of those cuts and replaced with more qleaner.

Just waiting on the cuts to root so we can get this sog going. The nasty looking ones where beat up bad but they might make it. Had them in water a couple weeks ago and didn't realize it was getting down to 40 degrees in my mom/clone cab. :wall:

About 20 healthy cuts almost ready, and I'll be taking at least 10 each week so we can get this sucker filled up

Thanks for joining in guys :bigjoint:

Getting antsy waiting for these cuts to root. 3 ladies from seed flowering now. Think I mixed up naming dc 1 and 2 in earlier post. Shortest is shiskadwag 1 (my favorite so far), in the middle shiskadawg 2, and tallest is the dawgcough.

Much appreciated sicc

Yes they are in 2 liter bottles. 12", 15", and 18". It's kind of a heads up for what to expect, but I won't be topping the qleaners.

Still in the boring stage but time for an update.

Moved the dawg crosses to a friends so they could get some more light and a transplant. The dawgcough is looking amazing. Nice chunky nugs loaded with sugar and smelling of cherry fuel. Won't get to smoke any for at least another 6,7 weeks. Of course I kept a cut for a mom and will definitely be adding a bunch of dawgcough cuts to the sog.

Here are the rooted qleaner cuts so far. The 10 in black pots have been in 12/12 since rooting a week ago. The other 4 rooted yesterday.

This qleaner pheno pineapple wine is the one I'm keeping as a mom. Not as good of a yielder as the sour jack pheno, but the taste and buzz are incredible so it makes up for the slow growth and smaller nugs. None of my banana pheno cuts rooted so no choice on losing that one..

And last but not least my 2 entries for the party cup thread. Should root any day now.

Harvest starts on march 11th which is 8 weeks from rooting. From there I chop one plant a day. I can fit 35 bottles in the space nicely so that will eventually put us at a 10 week flowering time harvesting one plant a day. Most likely running just the pineapple wine and dawgcough for awhile.

I see that you snip the ends of some of your leaves, do you find that this stunts growth even though the rest of the leaves are green? I was snipping some but read that its better to just let the plant decide when to get rid of its leaves if needed.
