I noticed that one of my roses has fuzzy tips. New growth, perhaps?
Fucking aphids!
I'm going to try three organic treatments & see how they compare.
Which one do you think will do best? (see survey)

Neem has worked for me in the past, in fact earlier this spring I used the last of it. But diluted alcohol with water supposedly makes them sterile . the artical I read was Listerine mixed with water in a mg sprayer But I'm sure grain alchol would have the same affect. I used the Listerine a few times and it seems to have worked but It also May of been me yelling and squashing them in my fingers that chased them away

I've used Neem before for aphids on roses and it worked ok. with weather around here, they were prone to black spot so I usually just used a combo spray with acetamiprid and triticonazole

there is a good product they make for roses (good for cannabis too, only more diluted)
its called "clean leaf" its a citrus based spray for the myriad of leaf issues that roses get.
good shit, and it kills botritus too (gotta re-apply each morning though)

..and of course it's best to start the spray program before you get black spot. sadly i don't have roses anymore. probably had 40 bushes at the peak. when i saw @dannyboy602 mention Jackson & Perkins in another thread it made me think about them. i always looked forward to their catalog and the new varieties.
Ya know...here in AZ we don't get mildew or blackspot...its so nice to see rose bushes with perfect green leaves and no yellow and black spots on em.

my favorite is heirloom roses, they have some really good roses there, world famous, and their shipping is reasonable and well packed for survival.
uhh, well it was ten yrs ago, haven't gotten anything from them in yrs...
but I have no more room...
