Buds still on stem

I asked a buddy who we kinda did a joint grow but it's hardly any of mine. Just supplied with soil and pots. Anyways I opted to ask him if he could leave the buds on the stems. Seems like a good idea but strikes me as old fashioned when most bud came to you on full stems back in 60-70's. But in all fairness it just keeps the bud together on one stick. Anything wrong with this?

If that's the way you want it, so be it.
To each his own
In the 60's and 70's we called it Thai Stick.
It's a new preference for me. Honestly never tried it but when I think of home goods, you tend to think of something that has a perfect imperfection. In this case the buds will basically be " in situ" or in place where first found. I'm no expert on this but if I were putting out a welcome basket, I'd want my buds to be on the stem to show, "I grew this for you, enjoy warmly" nothing less. It's having that unadulterated touch where weight isn't an issue.
Thing is though, curing can be difficult here unless large jars are used. No?
