Buds quality LEDs VS HPS

So you could get 20 zips out of a 10 gallon pot? That's impressive!

Sure if I had the space for the monster. I stick with short 5 oz bushes. 4 3 gallon pots (trying 5's now for better plant health I think I maxed the 3's) under each 600 ideally but lately they are getting bigger again. Wish I knew what I am doing right. Lol

So now it's only 6-7 plants fitting under the 3.5 x 7' space I use.

Having small plants like that won't allow the plants to express their full genetic potential.

Sorry I don't know man.
Cool! Much better than hearing it is Bullshit eh! ;)
I don't even mind if you call it Bullshit, I'd still like you and Chunky too.
Oh! Master Grower simply means respectfully the grower at a large facility in vegas that is succeeding. Nothing more nothing less. Maybe I'll fill you in over time and you can make an informed decision. Would be hard for you to say it was true. I wouldn't believe it either.
Not gonna go there any further. Had you called it Bullshit I may continue. I have other opinions about this thread and some of its growers but I want to be nice. I want to go back to the plant problem section and hang with you there. Maybe some of the led growers who are struggling should get out of the led section and join us there sometime. We hps growers love helping all growers who are struggling even led growers. You led guys should get out more. LMFAO!
Sorry about the ball busting guys you know I can't resist sometimes. In case I get a response from someone else, let me go 1st :finger:
I wanted to leave this thread 2 posts ago. Let me say you win Mongo I lose. Can I go home now. :peace:

View attachment 4048282 View attachment 4048285 View attachment 4048287 that is what I did 1 cob per sqft. To save money I'm running Vero 18s so each light engine (cob heatsink reflector) I have about $27 in. Add in drivers and and materials to build frsme and I've got a 500w actual draw over 4x4 that's so far gotten me 2.05 lb, 1.95lb, 2.22 lb, 2.10 lb, 2.28 lb, and 2.18 lb the 6 runs I've done under it since building it. So I'm running 16 Vero 18s at 1050 mAh for every 4x4 tent. Though I'm getting ready to expand again (jezz I love my customers and jezz they love $200 Oz's) and think I'm going to bump it up to running 600w in my next 4x4 build.
I don't actually have a bunch of 4x4 I started with one then I got a 10x10 and I've been building it up one 4x4 at a time
What canopy height ? Nice grow. 2 grams per watt...great

Meh, everyone has their moments.
I honestly think consistency is my biggest issue, but I can't resist tinkering.
Might be the ADD? I've got it bad, and when a buddy asks what I feed my plants, there's no easy answer.
A little bit of everything? :?`

For my outdoor crop I decided not to buy anything new since I've already got a TON of different nutes that are just getting old (like me). My plants also loved steeped nutrient tea, which was fun to play with.

That's rediculous. They are vegged to maturity and flowered 10-12 weeks and average 5-7oz. And I mean only larger dense buds. Small buds and bud trim go into coconut oil. There could be an ounce or more depending on strain.

Every strain looks, smells and tastes different I try and quite different highs and effects too.

And If they weren't bent into bushes they would all be 5-7 feet tall.

And a breeder of seeds I like to grow has pictured my plants in his catalog and on Instagram to show examples of his work.

Thanks for commenting.

Without watching the video produced by a company that sells LED, I'm going to guess LED won.
Let this thread die, the hps guys already won and have left the building. :peace:

Why is everybody so upset? If you guys insulted our light bulb or declared victory we would not get upset.
LED is more efficient, has better spectrum, is safer, lasts much longer with less maintenance and offers far superior light distribution.

The only place it lags behind HID is initial purchase price (not counting ROI measured in months, in energy cost savings alone) and that gap is narrowing by the day.

HID is obsolete. The best of it is 315W CMH and even that isn't serious competition once running and lamp replacement costs are figured in.

Good bud can be grown with all of them. It's easier and more efficient to grow with LED.

Even Gavita are coming out with an LED fixture.

If all that isn't enough, @Yodaweed will keep you company. You can both deny the future together.
