hey people i wanted to share with everyone my CFL grow so far. The
Plant has had alot of stress between me moving homes and staying outside for about a week. Here is my nicest baby who i am just hoping is female. All of this started from some unknown seed around APril 8th

Soil- Some top quality potting soil from local nursery. Something like Maine
Arbor potting soil
lights- 1 48w CFL
2 23w CFL
1 t5 tube (boosted from an old fish tank)

this little plant came inside about four days ago and has been on 12/12 since then. Im not dying for a huge harvest or anything like that, just some homegrown smoke no matter how nasty it tastes.

any comments and other shit are welcome. help me grow the dank!

Is that ur grow box,if so you might keep a eye on the lights not getting to close to start a fire...

Maybe not the ideal conditions for your plant, but it looks healthy and happy and thats all that counts. good job...keep growing.

the box is actually working really well. cardboard absorbs less heat than wood, and its in my basement so it stays cool. i think i may move the operation a little bit but thanks for the input man.

The plant looks healthy, but what is the box for? Maybe if the box was lined with something to reflect the light that would help. Maybe I'm high. Yeah I'm high lol
Good luck! :)

haha i feel that. im sitting here on my couch schemeing about bigger and better boxes to switch this grow to. Within a few weeks i think ill either grab a bigger box haha or boost a dresser or something that i find on the street. Either way ill keep everyone updated. ill try to post some pictures tonight because it really is looking nice and will hopefully show sex soon

I moved my baby into a better location. bigger space with less traffic. heres an update. i pruned alot of the leaves off that did not look like they were doing very well.

im looking really hard but i think its still too early to tell if its a boy or girl.i had a boy but he already started stinking and showing balls so hes outside and i havent bothered to recheck for maybe a week+. I had read that females usually show later and start smelling later. This little one just started to smell a tiny bit. what are you guys thoughts? anything i could improve on?

Hey, that looks pretty good. Better than the box, Especially with the white paper for reflection. Every little bit helps. i would suggest putting that CFL that is above your plant much closer. Like 1-2 inches, as close as you can. I've read that its better to burn a few leaf tips than to have the light too far away. They won't burn with CFL unless they are touching or within a 1/4 inch anyway. With CFL's light proximity is VERY important. Happy growing! :)

kill that male thats out side it could posssibly polinate your female. pollen can travel many miles and can stick to your clothes and then "poof" there goes all your hard work.

And i would get some nutes pronto.

quick update with 2 pics. Ill add more later tonight.

im going to start nutes next watering. so either tom or wednesday. right now every watering i give it a half liter of poland spring water with no nutes. If i use two bottles (1L) i get lots of run off. Should i continue to use .5L or start using an entire liter and just deal with the run off? Also im looking for a good NPK ratio for flowering plants.

Please feel free to comment/ criticize.

Growing good keep it up. Good thing you went 12/12 early with that one. Looks all sativa, going to be pretty tall before its done I think. Plan on adding more lights as it grows too. Every bit of light helps. Mostly warm light (2700k) for flowering, but a mix is good I think.
