Buds fatter at a certain time of day?

The last coule of harvests I always just do it in the morning, on a day when I have the 4 hours to invest in a nice trim session, like a Saturday or a Sunday. I was wondering if anyone has noticed if buds go through a cycle where they are fattest at a certain time of day?

Also I think I have decided against doing the 48 hours of darkness prior to chopping as I haven't really seen any benefit.Seems as though folks just " think " their plants are frostier than normal after not seeing them for 2 days  .

they may be fatter later in the day due to being alive longer but it probably wont be much difference if there ready for harvest anyway and i dont put them in darkness either and im always happy with the results

Its all personal preference, you wanna look at the trichomes for best bud quality. The bud wont get fatter. it will get stronger in potentcy. The longer you leave to flower the more trichomes it will produce and the more potent it will be. As far as i know the 2 hours of darkness is a myth i never tried it, will this time with my new seeds

Well this is true to a point. Once the bud is at it's peak the THc will start to degrade over time, so leaving it on any longer is just a waste.

I am asking if the plant has a natural type of deal, where every day there is a very small change in the buds at some point during the day when they are the heaviest.I am not asking about the buds getting fatter over time..

I guess I'l just stick to doing it in the morning.

Well the only thing that would go up, then down during the day is the water content in the bud. It wouldn't matter anyways because once they are dried you are left with just bud, nothing else. The bud itself does not grow, then shrink. Any actual bud growth stays around for good, anything that would cause it to be heavier during the day would be lost once it is dried.
