buds drying before chop?

hey rollers there was a plant i gave a full 7 days between watering and should've watered on the 6th. the buds are crispy dry on the outside with all the fan leaves curled up browning.

Is there any way to rehydrate the buds? it's got another 2 weeks till harvest and is still alive. flushing real good didn't really allow it to recover, any tips? another plant i noticed had certain stems [low away from light] dry to a snap with tons of other 'bent' stems with hydrated buds

yeah that's a good plan to get it soaked in 4 days and in this tent its fine with air flow i just waited to water too late, similar thing happened to another but worse and didn't recover

Same shit happened to me a few years back when I was first learning, that seedling turned out to be my best plant, topped itself on that lamp..lmao.

You'll be fine, just hang tight and keep moving forward. What you got for feeding?

i fed her tuesday 2tsp bloom 1.25 tiger 0.5 kelp and 1 gypsum, I'm skipping bottles and planning what I'm mixing up for my ROLS next grow, im excited to simplify it to plain water for superior quality :hump:

Cool beans!!! :)

For future reference, stop all nutes except bloom after you flip. Two reasons--the extra N and Ph isn't needed once the plants are in flower cycle, and second, it will actually take away from your yield (you'll have a shit ton of vegetation and smaller, airier buds instead of bigger, denser ones).

Follow this advice and no flushing is needed. Some do this religiously to reduce salts and improve taste. I don't see it as being useful at all but then, I don't overfeed ;)

Looking forward to seeing your harvest! :weed:

Maybe try rehydrating them and go for a little longer than you planned, this might make up for some of the weight you lost during the stress.

I load mine up with water or sugar water and let them sit in the dark for 10 hours to 4 days or so before I chop that normally gets the buds nice and damp again

you can try putting a plastic bag over the plant in the dark for a few hours more than a day and that can cause bud rot problems if the bud does start getting damp

or try a water cure ?

i figure the bottled nutes killed the once organic soil making them depend more on the nutes gotta go bottle or organic all the way.

how to rehydrate them besides pure water flush?

yucca would be seriously useful for all the dam mag compaction going on, im surprised she's not rehydrating even without good soil penetration

i thought the plastic bag idea was crazy but ill try that for 30 minutes tomorrow when the lights off to a section to see if that works, I've been curious about water curing but felt uncomfortable with the idea of submerging them underwater

I think she mightve died though
the stems are rock hard snapping as if they dried for 5 days or something and it's raining bud- i even found a nug in my beard after moving it

I just diced it up and let the chunks permeate the water which was 50degrees f maybe next time ill simmer for 20 minutes before refrigerating
