Buds already feel crisp

So chopped tonight and they already feel crisp on the outside of buds, very wierd considering I flushed 2 days ago. Anybody ever had this? Should I still hang them or straight to jars? Idk what to do first harvest please any help would be awesome I wanna get good tasting bud not harsh tasting stuff

If you put them into jars early, it will smell like wet hay. They need to hang until the stems bend, but not necessarily snap in half, at least 3 days. The bud will dry from the inside out. If the outside gets too crispy, you can put them into large paper bags to even out the drying process. I don't think they are already dry crispy, you must be feeling something else unless it's super hot and dry where you are.

No it's not dry been kinda hot but temps in box aren't real bad. I have a small cab that I was using as a clone veg cab that I have them hung in now with the fan off cause with it on its 60% hum. Will this or the paper bag thing cause mold?

Nah, not at 60%. At that rh, I would hang for about 5-7 days before jarring. I don't think you will experience mold at those rh levels, but make sure the rh does not spike too high. if they are in an enclosed space, it can raise the rh dramatically. Keep an eye on em, not sure why they are 'crispy' already, should even itself out.
