Budget Closet Grow

This is an exiting time!
My first grow, yo.

So, I'm doing this on a budget.
So far all I have bought is

• perlite
• 2 23w CFLS
• peat pellets

spent about $13 so far.
soaked the seeds over night.
two cracked. 5 didn't.
put them all in peat pellets under a diy dome in dark closet.
still waiting.
its been 1 day.

this is day 6 of germination.
2 out of 7 have sprouted.
i fear i must have done something wrong.
for the first 3 days i left everything in the dark and didnt water.
nothing happened so i put light on and watered them twice so far since the lights have been on. the lights dry the peat out pretty quickly. but i have tried not to over water. i always wait till the peat pellet is completely dry before re-water
