I was just wondering if its possible to start flowering before the sex shows? I seen a mates plant and noticed he was starting to flower, before you could even tell it was male or female? I didnt think this was possible? the plants on its 3rd set of fan leafs... And the branches have started growing and hes starting to flower... Is it possible to have a non sex-ed marijuana plant?

well brother; No on can answer this. How do you know itis not a seed fro an auto? IThe best advice is that you nuture this plant to maturity, and provide it with nutrients in order to acheive the most successful yield you can muster! Good luck. :)

To induce flowering on a plant you need to put it in 12 on and 12 off lighting. The sex will show within 2 weeks. If there is white hairs popping out it is a female, if little vegetative balls continue to grow with no signs of white hairs then it is a male plant.

could i start budding this? put it on 12/12? a question qbout flowering, Do you need to leave it on its normal 18/6 schedule then turn lights off after 12 hours? or do you leave it in dark for 12 when you start? or does this not matter?

Are you listening? Sex shows after you switch to the flowering lighting schedule.

You can try to flower that but you'll get very little or no bud.

switching your dirt if you can cause the plant doesnt look like its the happiest it could be

For plant life inside and around your home, the leading cause of mildew is......Bark Mulch.

Your plant is three months away from puberty. I get the impression that you want great bud in a few days or weeks from Germ.

It usually takes 4 to 8 weeks for cannabis to reach maturity. Then sex will start showing. You can cut back on light hours any time you want but it will not speed up maturity.

Put the light on 18 hours and 6 hours off and just water it with a little nitrogen base nutrients for vegetative plants at 25-50% recommended dose for a good 4 weeks, hopefully then we can get you to transplant it into some proper soil. If your plant is in a 1gal pot for example then water it with 500ml to 1L once a week. Add nutrients every other week. I do not know how powerful the light is you have over it but I would suggest a small CFL or something just so you don't kill the thing. If you have a high powered light on it, put it like 2 feet away from the plant for now. The less you fuck with it the better off you will be. You have a lot of catching up to do on educating yourself my friend. We are here to help, but you need to listen.

What Bwg is saying is you should be patient and let the plant establish maturity and settle in before you try and flower it.. it will be much much more worth your time, as well as ours helping you lol. It can show sex without flowering it once it hits its full maturity, thus continuing the attempt to not waste your time in flowering a male. The plant at full maturity is then ready to take on "the world" you create for it so to speak.

I like this info here. If you were to induce flowering today on that little plant; It would transition to flower, and finish early. This effort would leave you with a joint or 2.

Go the full veg period as advised above. after6-8 weeks You can switch photo period to 12/12, and flower away. Good Luck, and Happy growing. lw :)
