Here are my four BDs from sin city. I journaled the whole grow, though I did get lazy in bloom because it was hard to get pictures with my crappy phone camera. I'll be upgrading cameras next round of journaling.
#1, aka little tight
buds. By far the nicest tasting out of the group for me. She has a fruity but not blueberry taste, she smells like blue dream but more hazy and taste hazy too. She has a similar taste to my super great pheno of Ice back in 2007-8ish that I ran for years. Her high is a great mix of ind/sat, nice head buzz and body buzz without the dragging ass laziness of indica heavy strains. Great all around high,IMO.
#4. Fast haze. She was over ripe at 60 days 12/12. She had a juicy fruit gum smell in early flower but had almost no smell by end of flower? Running some clones in coco so I'll see if this changes her flavor/smells.
So far she has a weak taste as well, sure everything still needs time to cure but tightbuds is already tasty as fuck so not sure. There is a hit of nice tropical floral taste in there just got to find it. I'll have to let it cure for a bit then try it again. Plus I did dry this one way to fast, but the high is excellent sattie upper high. Hits pretty hard but no real anxiety. A great day time smoke but little of that body buzz of tightbuds
#2, aka bertha. By far the largest budding plant out of the group. I've only smoked one still moist bowl and she has a very intense flavor too. No fruity but more citrus and hazy, not a lemon or oranges but more or a grapefruit or lime or something along those lines. She should be nice after a cure as well. Potent and more of a couch lock type buzz.
#3, the runt and worst out of the group. Smell is nice reminds me of my old PPP but not even close in taste. The PPP won that one hands down. So far this plant has a harsh smoke with a less than stellar taste, not what one would expect from a blue dream and buddha's sister cross. Plus the other three are more potent smokes as well.
To be fair, I attribute the lack of strong flavor to the DWC and GH three part. I just seem not to get a good of flavor in DWC, compare to nft/diy aero, so hoping coco will get a different result. Plus I think I'm going to give PBP a go and compare results. And just to clarify, I lowered ppm down to just using bloom(pinkbottle) for last week of flower on all but bertha and honestly bertha had the strongest flavor and smell, so take that as you wish.
