Bud Washing?

I water cure anything I'm going to cook with and some of my stash. Never heard of adding lemon juice and baking soda. The taste of butter made with water cured buds is much more palatable to me. Getting rid of the chlorophyll and excess nutrients makes the taste better.

What method do you use to dry to and get this effect? I've never dried nor cured and I'm expecting in a couple of months, so I'm trying to prepare myself.

I can tell you first hand you lose nothing by washing your bud. If your growing outdoors you really need to give them a good rinse before you hang them. Gets the dust and and any bugs that got stuck off the plant.

Have you ever gotten your hands really sticky from trimming and then you wash your hands and they are still sticky? The oils and resins are akin to waterproofing. Soon as they dry you would see that you lost no trichomes.

Wash your buds if you grow outdoors or indoors if you don't have a advance air filtration system. Kind of nasty if you ever seen all the stuff washed off harvested buds. No harm no foul in dipping your buds in water. I just did so with my harvest and it removed all the time crude.
