Maybe all but the last 4, 5, or 6... Would have to see it to say for sure. The idea is to do what @UncleBuck said and trim the lower parts that won't get light.
Anyone that thinks this light myth is for real doesn't have a clue when it comes to what makes a plant tick.

Buck needs to stick to what he does best - Al Sharpton/Obama/Holder style race baiting, shit stirring.

Wait... what? Two uncles fighting about penis size? :wall:

If the grower is using CFL's or a low-wattage light he certainly wants to lollipop his plants. It isn't a myth. It is a technique that can be employed properly to get a much better crop than leaving things for nature to do on its own.

The OP remarked that he was growing SOG, a style of growing that benefits from having the parts under the canopy trimmed.

You're welcome.

I'm wrong? Sometimes. But not about this.

Maybe you can't handle the delicate intricacies of the technique, but it works for the rest of us that are able to employ it properly.
I allow the leaves the stay but remove the bud sites.
It's the same technique used commercially on tomatoes with tremendous success.
The lower buds are akin to sucker branches on tomatoes.
The OP is growing SOG and will get a higher quality product using the proper pruning techniques.

I have done my own side-by-side tests.
You can eat your words telling me, and others, to get educated.

hey uncle benis,

maybe if you spew a little more of your racist shit, it will change the inverse square law of light or the basics of plant biology regarding photosynthesis.

probably not, but a sweet girl like you owes it to herself to try.

all the best,

Hey race baiter...not getting enough black dick from the likes of Sharpton and the boyz?
I can tell you are a person who likes to force their will upon others. Much like a black hole that sucks the life, will, and energy out of living things.
"The decision to buy and use a product is often determined by the skill of the salesperson, not the efficacy of the product." Much like a guy knowingly selling bad dope to hopeful people. Karma is a bitch dude, but you would not understand. Hope you don't mind me putting a comma in your quote, but you suck so badly, I had to. Must be your personal quote, no one educated or not a used car salesman would have done that. Not that there's anything wrong with gay used car salesmen.

tie your branches down and take off any branch pointing to the ground or away from the light.

pruning is an ART. and must be learned. you want to take off anything that wont produce a nice nug.
it takes trial and error with each strain. once you harvest a plant you can say, i shoulda taken that bud site off because it didnt produce a gram of material.

you can compare the bud vigor when they start producing hairs.

I don't see how stripping produces any more than not stripping it. I have seen both and I yield a hell of a lot more when I let the plant go with every leaf that it grows. They drop leaves when they want to and that is the beauty of mother nature. I grow monsters and micros..
