Nectar for the Gods is a Great organic lineup im using right now. The ladys love it!:hump:
This sounds like a great product if you are still having problems shaking the bottle habit.

Zeus Juice, ingredients: humic acid and kelp extract. Your losing important stuff in the processing, and paying top dollar for it. That was the only product I looked at.

Quit spending your money at the hydrostores. Imo, If anything go buy some good organic books instead (non-cannabis).

They take pride in what they make and use top notch products to make nectar for the gods I also use there #4 soil mix. it is a calcium lineup unlike the salt nutes on the market. I don't have time to brew teas all day nor have the space, I needed something fast and easy maybe one day I can achieve basic tea brewing when I get a bigger place and start a worm culture and compost, would like to accomplish all of that.:)

it actually takes more work time to mix a bunch of bottled nutes than make a tea. It takes less than 5 min to put a tea together. You don't sit there and watch it brew the whole time.

how do you know what they put in nectar for the gods? I've spoken to a sales rep and one of the owners and seen the bottles. They don't disclose any ingredients and they didn't register with the department of agriculture for california nor oregon. So you have no idea what you are putting in your garden.. Anyone that would give their plants mystery nutes is definitely a noob. They are definitely not organic

They didn't register with Cali or Oregon cause to be considered OMRI, they use mineral based calcium sources as well as carbon based forms, They can not, by definition, certify as organic. To be certified organic it would have to be 100% carbon based ingredients.. GreenGenes707 said he has heard Good things about Nectar for the Gods and is looking to try out there lineup. Further more different strokes for different folks and I respect those that brew there own teas and grow 100% organic, I myself will be trying in the future. I also have Cannas lineup and like that thus far.

registering with the dep of agriculture has nothing to do with being organic. Omri listed is bullshit. Pay omri and they say what ever you want. Registering with doa has to do with being able to legally sell products in each state. If they don't register. Sooner than later they will be banned from each state that they are not registered in.

Pattahabi covered it - worm castings, oyster shell flower, crab meal, pulverized egg shells, gypsum powder, kelp meal etc... for sugars I stick with molasses and kelp meal. I don't use any bottled nutes.

cool thanks brother. what do you think about me using promix mycho, lime, humic acid, kelp meal, bone meal, rye hulls, charcoal ash, rocks/dust, maybe some sand, and soy meal, oats and earthworm castings for mycho growth, horse manure and sawdust bedding, pearlite

I stick pretty close to this:

33% Sphagnum Peat Moss
33% Aeration
33% High Quality EWC and/or Vermicompost
(some people run 50%/25%/25% Ratios)

To each 1 c.f. of this mix I add the following:

1/2 cup Neem meal
1/2 cup Kelp meal
1/2 cup Crab meal

4 cups of some minerals – rock dust (See Below)

The Rock Dust Recipe
4x – Glacial Rock Dust
1x – Bentonite – from the pottery supply store
1x – Oyster Shell Powder – the standard product from San Francisco Bay
1x – Basalt

Depending on what you have available some adjustments can be made. Imo it's all about the humic material - vermicompost. I really dig some clays or natural soils incorporated in the mix as well. Ahimsa neem from neemresource.com is the ultimate. Try other aeration rather then perlite. I like different kinds of more porous lava rocks like pumice and scoria. Check landscaping companies, nursuries, and garden centers before hydrostores. And read the Recycled Organic Living Soil thread stickied at the top of the organic section. At least the first several pages of it.

Good luck!

Myco's won't grow without roots. Get some myco powder and you can water it in with teas if you add it at the very end of the brew. Or the best use for it is to sprinkle right on the root ball and inside the hole as you transplant, this stuff will virtually eliminate transplant shock if done properly. Also the powders are quite cheap if you get them at HomeDepot type stores, think I paid 9.99 or 11.99 for a container about the size of Jacks Classic 20-20-20, you can be quite liberal with this stuff too.

IMO Promix and soils that say they have Myco's added are just using it for marketing. I've noticed no difference between my myco less soil this year as opposed to the one that contained it last year. I add my own at tea feedings and transplant, leaves don't droop at all after transplant and they seem to grow right away.

Good luck, organics is easier then it appears. You just gotta get the foot in the door.

3 cups of Amendments per cubic foot of soil, let it sit for 3-4 weeks minimum, and you pretty much can't go wrong just keep it balaced NPK wise and have some micro minerals in there too from rock dusts and the like. Lots of worm shit :) very important.
