can't you just google like everyone else?:wall:

"I want individuals to have their own insurance," Romney said. "That means the insurance company will have an incentive to keep you healthy. It also means if you don’t like what they do, you can fire them. I like being able to fire people who provide services to me. You know, if someone doesn’t give me a good service that I need, I want to say I’m going to go get someone else to provide that service to me."

it still doesn't take away the fact he's a tax evader.
So you have never deducted your mortgage interest from your taxes? You have never claimed your children on your taxes? Head of Household?
If you had a company car you wouldn't take that deduction? Co. Office in your home?

seriously? is that what gets your jock in a bunch?

no. i don't. it concerns me more why that employee is acting this way. i talk to people and build relationship even if it's fleeting like wait staff or sales.

example:

mcd drive-thru window #1 to pay. this girl 20's had the nastiest scowl on her face. it was breakfast. i remember that scowl, well. it's the fortune 500 scowl. the work you to the bone corporation scowl.

so i said, you know..it's breakfast time..why the sad face?..and what are YOU doing here anyway? why aren't you in school instead of working here unless this is your career choice which is fine, but you don't look happy.

she said she graduated and is LPN and can't find work. where are you looking?..all the hospitals of course! i asked about traveling if she looked into it..the hottest thing in medical (florida) and she didn't know anything about it. which falls on her school..they should be assisting with placement. I suggested she start looking at that option..told her about the freedom vs. hospital (no politics). As a matter of a fact there is a company within a mile that is huge and does just that. she said she had another job to go to and then if it was open she'll stop by to get info and application.

i left that mcd and drove to the traveling nurse company. in my PJ's, i went up to the penthouse where their offices were located, asked if they were looking specifically recent LPN graduate. they sure as hell are! picked up an application and drove back to that mcd.

i don't subscribe to man's inhumanity to man. a few minutes of your time to help another?..i live my life this way.

That was really nice you helped that girl and voluntarily did a charitable thing for her.

How would you feel if somebody or something told you that you had to do that whether you were inclined to do it or not?

We all know Sky has deducted things on her taxes, it's why she is exactly like Rmoney, a 'tax evader' ( When she really means a Tax AVOIDER) but sky still doesn't even grasp the concept of what he was talking about in the first place. Still thinks Rmoney has schadenfreude every time he doesn't get good service and "fires" his Health Insurance company and goes with some other health insurance company and gives them his business (Money). Yep, when I quit using state farm and went to Progressive I "fired" state farm and the entire company went on unemployment.

That really happened Skylar, every State Farm employee lost their job when I went to Progressive. Just like every health insurance company employee that Romney "Fired" when he went to blue cross blue shield did. uh huh yep, you bet

That last part was actually sarcasm, not being fecetious there.

What do you mean "his" money?
Do you mean the corporation of which he is chairman of, that money? Or do you mean his actual personal money?

Either way I am sure it is to avoid taxes, but its not illegal so you can't chastise him for it, because it was the people you voted for that made the laws, if anyone is to blame it is you and the politicians you helped put in place who made that law.

What does that matter? Congress can introduce bills to undo those previous laws, happens all the time. The mere fact that it hasn't been done clearly suggests that Congress and the people WANT to have companies stash profits in overseas shell companies in order to avoid taxes. Taxes which tax payers will have to bear.
How come none of the people you helped elect have brought forth a bill or attached a rider to an existing one to overcome such lapses in judgement?
Perhaps the people you elected are easily corrupted and are nothing more than puppets of the big corporations that use such loop holes?

I was referring to your act of kindness to the wait person. You took the initiative to help somebody on a voluntary basis, which is a noble thing. I commend you for that.
Have you ever sent a thank you card to your government for all the many things it provides you.
